We hired Dan and D. Loesch Construction for a conversion of our garage to an ADU. We met him through a neighbor referral and have happily referred him to others we know as well. The experience was stellar throughout the process - highly recommend.

We knew we wanted to make our garage a usable space, and we knew we didn't want an ADU. Dan helped us create a vision for a conversion that created an insulated storage space with a loft, and a studio space opening to the back yard. He offered many suggestions that met our desired outcomes, and offered to do more if our tastes and specifications evolved. He provided a clear plan, accurate estimates, and worked with our schedule to ensure access to water, power, facilities were not disrupted. His team and subcontractors remained professional and ensured that our day-to-day life was not disrupted by the project. Dan and the team didn't just work for us; they worked with us. They provided assurance and confidence that helped us create a space that made sense for our life and family.

I reached out to DLC when I decided to add a separate living space for my mom to move in with us. From the very first visit, the team helped me figure out what was possible even when I didn’t have a clear vision myself. They managed every step, from permits to construction, with clear communication and real dedication. What used to be a cluttered garage and unused backyard is now a beautiful, comfortable home addition where my mom has her own space and independence. I’m deeply grateful for their craftsmanship and honesty throughout the process. It made everything feel stress-free and personal.

We started our home addition with a very simple idea: we wanted more space for our growing family, and we wanted the new part of the house to feel like it had always been there. DLC took that concept and turned it into a five-bedroom, four-bath home that fits our needs beautifully. Dan was great at explaining the design and build process, answering our questions, and keeping communication consistent from start to finish. I also really appreciated how safe and respectful the crew was while we had small children at home, and the final result honestly exceeded what we pictured.

We had a wonderful experience working with Dan and his team. Communication was clear and effective. They walked us through all the decisions we needed to make, laying out the costs/benefits of each, setting forth a clear plan, and answering all our questions. The construction process was well-organized and efficient, coming in on budget and ahead of schedule. We were installing a pool as well as the ADU, and they did a great job coordinating with the pool company to streamline the whole process. And as a bonus, they are fun people to have around! We would highly recommend them!
