Dagan did a down-to-studs renovation and expansion of our 50 year old home. He worked incredibly hard to understand and accommodate our preferences on style, timing and budget. We are very happy with the results and plan to use him for a further development project.

I highly recommend Dagan Design & Construction for any remodeling job. I'd seen Dagan's high quality construction work in a property that I'd sold last Spring in Solana Beach and have enthusiastically recommended him to my clients ever since. Dagan just completed a project for an out of state client of mine who wanted to remodel her investment property before we listed it for sale. Dagan had wonderful recommendations for the finishes, came up with a practical budget and he and his team completed the work quickly and professionally. My client and I could not have been more pleased. We had multiple offers on the property within a week of listing the townhouse. Everyone loved the finished product!

Having worked with Dagan on multiple projects, I can say that Dagan is a great contractor; who, alongside his team, produce beautiful projects . His knowledge and insight are invaluable and makes the design process/implementation seamless. If problems arise during construction, Dagan is great at finding solutions to carry out the intent of the design. It is a pleasure working with him.

We bought a 2br/2ba 1350 sq ft (approx) condo in Solana Beach. Our project was a full condo renovation. We obtained bids from 3 local contractors and selected Dagan Design & Construction. We had the following done: removed a loft and interior walls to create one large living space encompassing the living room, dining room and kitchen. New windows and a French door replaced a slider. Dagan's design for the custom kitchen cabinets gave us added storage including a large pantry. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a custom designed island (4ft x 8ft) with a beautiful butcher block top. New wood floors were laid throughout the condo. Dagan's design for the bedrooms included vaulted ceilings. The bathrooms were completely redone with marble counter tops (same as the kitchen) and subway tiles. Of note was the design and work done in the master bathroom. The closest was move from the bathroom to the bedroom, a single sink setup was made into dual sinks. The rest of this bathroom created a large shower and a separate room for the toilet. Custom built-ins were added to the master closet. On the outside of the condo a cement walk way to the front door was replaced with brick pavers. In the garage Dagan add storage space (in the ceiling) and a new laundry area. Overall, this was a large project that my wife and I had never done before. Dagan did a great job. He kept us informed of his progress (we live in NorCal) and was completed in a timely manner. Based on Dagan's experience, he helped us with design ideas and suggestions. He made our decisions much easier. We are extremely happy with the finished product and we will hire him in a heartbeat when we want something else done (new back deck is next).

Dagan and I worked together on a remodel of master bath and secondary bathroom. The rooms were tight, so we made sure to maximize on storage and utilize the spaces as best we could. Dagan was happy to collaborate and make sure the design was delivered as intended, making sure the clients were happy and confident with the process along the way. His easy-going nature and ability to be flexible while making sure the job gets done well make Dagan a great contractor that I'm happy to work with!

Dagan and company did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel project. He was very responsive to our inquires and requests throughout the project, which was completed in a timely manner and within budget. He has a very pleasant manner and is easy to work with. The finished product is of the highest quality workmanship and aesthetic. I would hire him again for any project, large or small.

I recently bought a house in the Del Mar area. I wanted an extensive remodel and I called Dagan to give me a quote. He and his team were fantastic all around. Right from the start I was treated very nicely and I simply loved that. Dagan was great! Very friendly and so professional, I couldn't have asked for anyone better. The remodel was right on schedule and it turned out amazing. Their prices are more than reasonable and I loved the work Dagan did. I'm definitely going to call him the future. I would highly recommend him for any sort of remodel you might have as a matter of fact he also did our Hair Salon in Encinitas last year and turned out fabulous! Thanks Dagan, you guys were great!!

Dagan and his team just redid our bathroom and did an excellent job. It looks beautiful and was on budget. They were nice, showed up on time, and we are very happy with the results.

We hired Dagan in January 2015 to do our master bedroom and bathroom remodel a few months after we initially started talking with him. Being newbies to the remodeling world, we were very indecisive about scope of the project and pretty much had no clue about the components of the construction process. In the end the project tripled in scope - we decided to do landscape, a dog run, pergola, interior and exterior paint, stucco work, trenching out the backyard for an additional unit, and moving the laundry room. Not only did Dagan help guide us through the basics, gave us fair and clear price estimates on additional work we added, but kept a level and upbeat attitude when unexpected surprises came up. One classic example was on day one when we found out there was no foundation in the room, he reassured us it was going to be OK, charged us a reasonable price and got the work done quickly and expertly. We knew from the get go he was going to be great to work with, but once the project was complete we really truly appreciated all the extra effort he put in for us on all the finishing touches and his designer eye. He's a great guy with quality subs and we absolutely loved the transformation of our property.
