We loved working with Dave Powers Construction! We did an entire rebuild and our project could not have run any smoother than it did…and it only took 14 months from tear-down to move in. Dave was very helpful along the process and knew when to "push" me along with decisions and knew when to "step back" with my slow decision making processes! He was professional and prepared us in advance for each step in the process. Our personalities meshed well and he really made building a new home a fun and enjoyable process for us. We would work with Dave Powers again in a heartbeat.

We discovered David through a referral from a friend. We interviewed several contractors for our extensive remodel, and chose David Powers Construction primarily due to David's charisma and overall positive vibe. David has the perfect combination of professionalism, charm, and knowledge. Our project was extensive and required nearly daily decisions on material choice, layout, and detail. Our home today is beyond our expectations for beauty and quality. Every morning when we brew up a fresh cup of coffee and stare out at the Pacific, we think of David and his crew, thankful for what we have. The patience David had with us was, quite honestly, amazing. Consider yourself lucky if David takes on your project!

Dave built our 2 story, 3,000 sqft home, and we couldn't have been happier with him. We originally chose Dave because he estimated a shorter time on completion than other contractors, and a more reasonable price. He delivered on both! From tear down to finish, we had our brand new home built in 6 months to the day. He has a great relationship with his subs, and treats them with respect (which was important to us). Our favorite part about David was his willingness to solve any issues that came up with his subcontractors. We had an issue where a piece of granite arrived cracked for our kitchen. The granite yard said the stone guys broke it en route, and the stone subs said the yard gave them an already cracked piece. There was no way to know the truth, and David swallowed the cost for us. That showed us someone who truly honors both his clients and his own responsibility as the general contractor. He also had great aesthetic input on our home, and since we didn't have a designer, this helped me greatly when it came time for major selections. I would definitely use him again if we ever decided to build again, and we have recommended him to all of our friends. David made building our first house a wonderful experience, and we are so happy with our home!

Dave Powers Construction did an awesome job on our remodel. We tore everything down but the kitchen. Reworked floor plan, added a bedroom, bathroom, extended front and back and completely new roof design. Dave told us 6 mo. And if I hadn't delayed the stucco color choice he would have had us back in at 5 months. Dave helped make the process go smoothly. Always ahead of the game. Best part of the process was (besides him making everything go so smoothly and that there was no tension between my husband and I during the entire process) he listened to all we wanted to get out of the remodel, made suggestions, made sure we did not make wrong decisions, always returned calls and e-mails promptly and did it with the most positive attitude. He always greeted us with a smile and made sure we were okay with every step of the project. We recommend him to anyone who asks how our experience was.

Working with Dave over the past 12 years has been a delight. He is professional, hard working, knowledgeable and most importantly honest. You always know when you have a good person working with you when every one of their previous customers is thrilled with their homes. He makes the process of building a home a wonderful experience.

Dave Powers Construction recently completed a full rebuild of our one story home, to a two story home. This included a full demo, foundation and engineering, and rebuilding from, basically, the ground up. The project took about 10 months to complete, which is within the timeline/range set forth prior to the commencement of the project. Importantly, the completed rebuild was reasonably within our initial target budget. Throughout the 10 months, my wife and I found Dave to be very responsive and attentive to our (sometimes changing) needs. He offered guidance and alternatives to save costs and enhance design features whenever appropriate. He worked well with architects, engineers, the city, and numerous sub contractors to navigate through a complicated build. 6 months post move-in, we are extremely happy with the end result and have recommended DPC to friends and family.

Very very professional, incredible design ideas, amazing workmanship and a pleasure to work with !! David remodeled two bathrooms, a wet bar and hardwood flooring for us. Our next project will be done by none other than Dave Powers Construction !!

I can recommend David Powers without reservation! David built our personal residence which was ultra-custom with many details. This kind of construction required daily discussions. We had very specific ideas of what we wanted and David helped us realize them. His strength was his determination that we be completely satisfied. No detail was too small. He communicates very well and is always accommodating. He had a long list of qualified tradesmen to complete the project and they all did top quality work. We thoroughly enjoyed the construction process and would do it again in a minute.

David Powers is a perfect gentlemen. Respectful, gracious and very hardworking. His work ethic and product is superior. I highly recommend Dave Powers Construction!
