As a professional Real Estate Investor, I am always looking for trusted professionals. I found that with Daniel Dawkins of Dawkins Development Group. I had an investment property in CT that had a pipe burst this past Winter. Dan had his crew out there that day to get the water out. He assessed the damage and had the bid prepared for the claim in just a few days. Dan also worked very well with the insurance adjuster and prepared the paperwork exactly the way the adjuster required it be done. All of this was accomplished without me being present as I live out of state. When I flew in to close on the property with the new Buyer, everything looked great and the Buyers were very impressed with the quality of the repair and new flooring. The pipe break was actually found on the day of their home inspection. Dawkins Development group got the job done quickly and on budget as promised.

Project: Renovate two bed two bath for wheelchair accessibility; paint entire co-op. I was impressed with the owner’s knowledge of construction. We knew we wanted to create a safe living space for our mother who had Alzheimer’s Dementia. We also wanted to brighten up our space while we underwent the care of our mother. Nothing was too big for Daniel. He approached our ideas with patience as it was out first major renovation project and took us to look at tile options and when we did not like the color we chose he did not fuss about repainting it. We opted not to make use of his architect but would make use of this for our next project with Dawkins. The project went a few weeks over due to delays in material availability and delivery but our home was kept clean and material was neatly kept strategically out of the way for wheelchair access.

I requested a recommendation for a handyman on a local social media group Feb. 2019 for a relatively basic service and included what I thought would be the (somewhat complicated) solution. Daniel responded to my request with a more simple solution, obviously cheaper. We made arrangements for Daniel to come to my house for an estimate. To my surprise, when Daniel arrived, he fixed my problem on the spot... No more waiting for another appointment to be scheduled. The fix was perfect, perfect! I am so, so appreciative of Daniel's initial recommendation before even meeting me, and then instantly fixing the problem. And finally, not even charging me! No one is in business to provide free services! Daniel, I am truly grateful for your help and generous, kind spirit! Thank you!!

My home suffered significant damage after a pipe froze and burst, flooding my finished basement and other rooms. I called on Dawkins Development Group, Inc. to perform the restoration of my home. Dan did a great job of being available and his willingness to talk through any situation was much appreciated. Also, whenever a challenge or miscommunication arose, Dan or his go to personnel did a commendable job of addressing the situation, taking responsibility and ensuring a smooth path forward. I was very pleased with the final outcome of my home and look forward to spending many years enjoying what is essentially a brand new finished basement.

Daniel is a hard worker, knowledgeable builder, and someone who really enjoys what they do. He renovated our kitchen, which was a moderate to high complexity job due to a need for supporting wall to be removed, so he worked with the architect to implement the needed adjustments to the floorplan in a safe and most efficient way. We stayed on budget till completion, and I was very pleased with results.

I used Dawkins Development Group to concrete my disgusting back yard. They did a great job the before and after pictures are like night and day. Daniel worked with me from the planning stage and though out the process. His team were punctual and profession and Daniel worked with them to get the best possible outcome. They finished the job exactly on schedule and left the outside of the house spotless. I appreciate Daniel for the great work he and his team has done for helping to turn my dirt filled backyard into an outdoor oasis. I highly recommend this business and plan to use them again to fill in my sloped driveway and to design the main room in my basement.
