We had our second project with Development Design Services in April, and are so happy with the outcome. This project included new windows, new front door, siding, columns, and a stone veneer facade. I do not have a creative bone in my body and my husband has so many ideas that it can get overwhelming. Thankfully, Edwin and Tina were able to present a vision for our house that we both liked. Flaco was the lead on site and he knows his craft. The men were courteous, understanding, and dependable. I’ve lived in the same house for 35 years, and wish I found them sooner because I trust them. We had Tina and Ed work on the renovations of our house recently. I must say they are the best in their area of home improvements, quality of service, and professionalism. We were working with a budget and Ed/Tina were from the very beginning involved with the planning process and provided us with their expertise guidance. They have so much patience to understand the requirements and ensure they are able to suggest the best quality products and also very cost effective. They were able to give advise on things we could do with our Den and Living room area which were not originally part of our plans but after they showed how the end product would look, we decided to move forward and we are extremely happy with the results. Both Ed/Tina are respectable and humble. My family interacted with them on a daily basis until the project was complete and built a positive relationship to discuss all the interior fixtures, from paint, wood colors, chandeliers, built in fireplace and many other things. We recommend them highly and would love to have future opportunities to work with them.

This contracting team was an absolute pleasure to work with -- kind and responsible, very communicative, and did great work. We were renovating an old barn that is dear to our family, and they matched our care for the project. They were extremely attentive to our needs and concerns during the design and build processes. They offered helpful suggestions when needed, which aligned to our aesthetics and project budget. When problems arose, which is inevitable in the renovation of a very old structure, they were quick to solve them efficiently and cost-effectively.

We hired Ed and Tina to help us with our kitchen remodel a few months ago. We weren’t sure what to expect but the reviews looked good and the price was right so we gave them a chance. And boy, they did not disappoint. From the start we were so impressed by their ability to guide the project through major obstacles and hiccups. Tina is amazing with logistics and follow ups. Ed and his team are masters at what they do.. the project that we had, required a very knowledgeable and skilled contractors.. we had the project evaluated by a few other contractors who we know were professionals and masters at what they do…all of them were very hesitant about even taking on this project. Incredible & would highly recommend. Talented, Impeccable taste, knowledgable, professional, creative, personable & incredible problem solvers. I had a disaster on my hands, & a friend recommended Development Design Services, not only did they immediately identify the problem & advise what needed to be done, recommended how to resolve the situations, but how it could be done with a modern aesthetic that was still in keeping with my historical home, but cost effective. The Ed & Tina are incredibly talented, creative, knowledgable, but also cost effective, their team of workers are experts in all areas, & I have never seen anyone work so hard & diligent to complete the job with such efficiency, accuracy with taste in such a short window of time. What did I have done? I have a brick house, but the wood extension that was built before we moved in wasn't done very well. 1/ They removed the rotting wood on the outside of the extension, did the much necessary structural improvements before replacing the wood with an incredible fieldstone exterior. 2/ Replaced the leaking flat roofs & surrounding trim, added new posts & lighting to the roofs & replaced the outside broken lighting. 3/ Did a beautiful job of renovating an old bathroom with 1/2 paneled wainscoting, the makeover look stunning, modern, but still in keeping with the house aesthetic. The end result, has all my neighbors talking of how the updates & renovations has made my home look incredible, creating great curb appeal & has increased the value of my home. Ed and Tina did it again!!! We were so thrilled about the work completed for our master bathroom/rear house entry way that we decided to get our remainder of house done as well. From the first time they stepped into our house for an estimate, the dynamic dual of Ed and Tina blew the others out of the water. From there innovative ideas to their positive reinsurance and confidence, we knew that they were the team to go with! We cannot begin to express how absolutely thrilled we are to have used Development Design Services. Ed and Tina came in with some great ideas about what to do with our small, old kitchen. Once we hired them work started within 3 days. The guys that worked on the project were super friendly and highly skilled. We fully gutted the old kitchen to the studs as well as took up the entire downstairs floor. the guys trenched my slab floor and brought my sink to the other side of the room ( I only know of one other house in Levittown that did this). The guys worked clean and were meticulous in the work and detail. Special shout out to Jose who was a master of all things and just a really good person. We would recommend Ed and Tina's company to anyone who may ask. they came in on budget and an time. Other people we interviewed either could not finish when we needed them to or came in with a estimate that was significantly higher than we expected. I found Development Design Services on the Houzz website. I had made one last ditch search to convince myself that I had exhausted my due diligence just before I signed with one of the contractors that I was leaning towards. I had searched Houzz extensively over a two-year period and had never seen this company listed before, yet in my last-minute search two companies popped up neither of which I had seen before. It was a week before the July 4th holiday weekend, and I decided to call both. I called Development Design Services first and spoke with Ed Torres. We arranged for him to come out to the house the following day, but that got changed as they were wrapping up another job for the holiday. That was a little bit of a downer, as I was going to be leaving town for 10 days and was hoping to conclude my contractor search before going away However, while I was away, and still considering my options, I received a text from Tina on behalf of Ed Torres of Development Design Services offering optional days that Ed could meet with me upon my return. Already unsure as to whether I should even bother meeting this guy after he had canceled our initial meeting, something within me told me to go ahead and let him come by and hear what he had to say. Ed arrived at our home on July 14th at the scheduled time. I opened my door and standing on the lawn was someone dressed in cowboy boots and hat, I blurted out that I never expected Ed Torres to be a cowboy. It turns out that Ed Torres was just what I needed. Ed and I discussed the scope of my renovation, which was very extensive. I noticed he was easy to talk to, thoughtful in his suggestions, professional, yet friendly and respectful. Two days later, I received another call asking if he could stop by again. I was not home at the time but told him to go ahead to the house. I arrived home and found Ed with two other persons who turned out to be his wife Tina his partner at Development Design Services and their construction manager Flacco, all three was a good fit for my personality. Although the estimate was very important, it was not the real deciding factor for me. I needed to find a contractor with whom I was comfortable and confident that I would have the least headache. I am very picky and take professionalism and communication very seriously. Before signing a contract both Ed and Tina discussed the stone options and invited my husband and I to their stone supplier to look at what was available…unbeknown to them, this personal shopper experience was the icing on the cake…this was exactly the kind of service I needed…thank you Ed & Tina. I would highly recommend Development Design Services and their team without hesitation. I will be using them again for my interior renovation. This was the third contractor we worked with this year and they by far exceeded all expectations on our stair repair and stonework doe the exterior of the house. Not only are Ed and Tina a pleasure to work with, they bring a creative eye that cannot be beat. We cannot thank them enough for the beautiful job they and their crew did for us. We want to share our experiences with Development Design Services as I do not select contractors, especially for a complete kitchen renovation, without a referral from a friend or someone who had used them in the past. My wife and I had wanted to redo our kitchen for a couple of years now but didn't know anyone who had a good experience with their contractor. We then decided to search websites such as Houzz and Angie's List. As we searched and read reviews, we wondered if any of these reviews were "real" but decided to add our name to these sites anyway. The phone calls that followed were overwhelming and the contractors that called seemed rehearsed. We just never received a good vibe from any of them until I received a call from Edwin Torres from Design Development. We thought that this guy either was genuine or just a great actor, but something told us to give him an opportunity to at least come and give us an estimate. It turns out meeting Ed and his wife was the best decision we made. Ed came to our house at the scheduled time, and to our surprise, he brought along his wife. They are a husband-and-wife team! The two of them reminded us of Chip and Joanna from Fixer Upper. We learned both were graduates from FIT, Fashion Institute of Technology. We liked what they suggested, and their estimate was very reasonable. But I was still skeptical as I never heard of this company nor found the company anywhere online. I thought, red flag! So, I asked for their certificate of insurance and called the insurance company. Turns out, they were fully insured. Then came contract time. We were very surprised to see that the contract was written in such a way to satisfy us with the timing of the job, payment schedule and the details of what was included. However, we wanted to see and speak with one of their customers to give us that comfort level. Ed did one better. We were invited multiple times to see an actual job they were currently doing. Not only a kitchen but in fact, a complete house renovation. We spoke to the owners of that house, and they had nothing but good things to say. So, we signed the contract with the terms that were more in our favor. You can't beat that at all. As a bonus, Ed and his wife, Tina, even accompanied us to shops to help with the selecting paint color, tiles, fixtures, etc. I doubt you will find that kind of help from anyone. Ed promised the job would be completed in 6-8 weeks, and yes, it was done on time. Were there issues, Yes! of course, but more importantly were they resolved to our satisfaction and the answer to that again is Yes, of course!. All in all, we were very satisfied with the job, the timing and the dedication. I know as you read this review you will have the same skeptisism we had. Is this review for real? The answer is Yes.. it is. We highly recommend them, and you won't be sorry!

Hello, so, DDS completed a complete backyard reno for us this April 2021. It was a massive demo of old rotting decking with unforseeable junk underneath. The job was completed within budget and the time frame indicated. Ed and Tina were absolutely wonderful! They provided a very professional estimate via email with architectual drawings and within our financial means. In particular, and I'm a huge believer in, great communication from Ed. This was very important to my wife and me and they were exceptional at it. Ed listened to and honored my design ideas to the T. Overall we are very pleased with out new back yard. Thank you DDS!

Development Design Services are an amazing team with phenomenal taste, class, and elegance. From the moment I reached out to them about our backyard renovation, I received consistent communication and support. As somewhat of a designer myself, I found DDS's experience with home design incredibly valuable to the success of the project. Attention to details such as color and texture made me feel confident in their abilities and showcases the care they have towards their clients. For instance, my first idea was to have a teak or synthetic wood siding as a feature wall, but DDS took into consideration the color of my existing furniture and hot tub and showed me stone options which better matched the backyard's tone. Even with multiple changes, high complexity, struggles with material suppliers (due to COVID), our project was kept within our budget and timeframe. I know our backyard is just one of many projects to come! The professionals @ Development Design Services are amazing ! We hired them to do many projects throughout our home ranging from outdoor stonework, structural repair on our chimney, outside steps, and even some nice landscaping updates around our property. We were so pleased with their completion rates, coming in under budget, and over expectations that we invited them to help us re-model our basement. The truth is, they are just as great on the inside, as they are on the outside. You will be just as pleased with their work as we have been.

When I recently moved to New York City I reached out to Development Design Services to design my studio apartment. Since there is limited space in a studio apartment I feared that my girlfriend and I would not be able to fit all of our belongings in our apartment. Development Design Services provided me with an incredible floor plan paying great attention to the dimensions of our living space, which allowed my girlfriend and I to make the most out of our apartment and fit all of our furniture in the most efficient way possible. Additionally, Development Design Services helped us with a number of furniture options based on our preferences and while I never thought a sectional couch could fit in a studio apartment with a full size bed I was proved wrong with the help of their services. With that being said, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the design of our home and wouldn’t have gotten it right without the help of Development Design Services.

We are currently working with DDS on an exterior project that is set to be completed at the end of October. Edwin promised us luxury design for a fraction of the cost and that he has delivered. This company has taken a model that is usually based on cookie cutter service and a lack of creativity and turned it into a highly unique and consumer-centric experience. We are currently working with DDS on a significant exterior project that includes; roof, siding, masonry, and landscape design and we could not be happier with the services that are being provided!
