I had an overwhelmingly positive experience working with DKR. They completed two full bathroom remodels, redid my laundry room floor, and built out a new kitchen island, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! From the beginning, they offered thoughtful suggestions to help the spaces feel more open and function better, without ever making me feel pressured to do more. They were very fair and transparent with pricing, with no unexpected budget add-ons or overages. Ran and Albert paid attention to the tiniest details — things I wouldn’t have even noticed myself, but that made it clear they genuinely cared about the quality of their work. They managed and scheduled all of the work and inspections incredibly efficiently, making the best use of both their time and mine. Most importantly, they made what could have been a very long and stressful renovation process feel completely manageable (dare I say, easy!). I had 100% trust in them throughout the entire project, which gave me so much peace of mind. If it isn’t clear by now, I would absolutely recommend DKR to anyone and would very happily work with them again on any future projects!

Ran and his team did our ADU conversion and backyard renovation in 2025-2026 and we couldn't be happier with the results and the process. We were totally new to the reno process and Ran + the on site manager Fernando were super clear, communicative, attentive, helpful, and pleasant to work with. They were easy to reach and were regularly on site -- in fact, we'll miss seeing them so often! Any questions were addressed promptly and with zero gaslighting or ghosting. The quality of the work for everyone they brought in was beyond excellent, from the painters to the tile installers for bathroom to the guys who did a painstaking and beautiful exterior flagstone install. Highly recommend getting in their queue for any renovation projects.

We did a major renovation with our property where 80% of the property was significantly altered. Our house is around 4,200 square feet sitting on about .4 acres of land. We re-configured the driveway, re-did the swimming pool and the spa as well as re-doing the hardscape of the entire backyard. We broke down existing walls and moved bathrooms to different spots and even added 2 more bathrooms. We re-did the electrical systems and all of the plumbing. Basically we took a house built in 1925 and modernized it to today's standards while maintaining its inherent aesthetics. DKR was clear from the beginning what it was going to do and how much it was going to cost. I have heard many horror stories of working with general contractors in major projects from many colleagues and friends. However, we were pleasantly surprised how smoothly and efficiently this enormous project went. Ran was our main General Contractor and our onsite project manager was Pierre. Albert was the office guy handling all the money and contracts. All three were very pleasant to deal with during this 12 month long project. We will definitely be working with DKR as we have other smaller alterations to this property already in mind.

After running in to some issues with one contractor, we were fortunate to change directions and entrust our full re-model to Ran, DKR and the whole team. We love our home and spending time inside or out. After, initially, committing to the house re-model, we then continued on with Ran with the substantial exterior work. Ran is a good, decent, fair man and those qualities were also reflected with Fernando, our project manager, and the organization, as a whole. Our home is everything we dreamed of, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with DKR Construction! This experience has been especially meaningful to me, as my father, who sadly passed away, was a contractor himself. He was known for his integrity, kindness, and dedication to his craft. So, when I set out to find the right contractor for our project, I wanted someone who not only had the skills but also shared those same values. After meeting with several contractors, it became clear that Ran was the one who truly stood out. From the moment we met, he was a light to our family. We recently completed a 400sq ft garage conversion plus added 100 sq ft of storage space. We are THRILLED with the results! The entire team is amazing -- Ran is so knowledgeable, patient, and excellent at solving the problems that inevitably crop up. Our site manager Jose was extremely responsive, responsible, and client-oriented, and Albert was great to work with on the administrative side, not to mention that all of the workers on the team who came every day and worked really hard to get the project completed in a timely way. The project was started in July and finished by early December -- we had been quoted by most contractors that it would take 6-9 months, and this took around 4.5 months and was done WELL. The team's communication with us was great the entire time. When issues came up, they made sure to discuss it with us and we made a plan together on how to proceed. It turned out that our drafters had made some major mistakes, and Ran and the team had great suggestions for how to address those mistakes and still have something we could be very happy with. We solicited several bids for the contract and met with several contractors. From our first meeting with Ran, we felt very comfortable - he came prepared to discuss the project in detail and to let us know the realities of what would be possible with our budget. We had been warned by everyone who has ever done a home renovation that surprise costs pop up. This did happen a couple of times for things that could not have been known until demo occurred, but Ran made an extraordinary effort to avoid additional costs except for ones that were completely unavoidable. His bid was in the middle of the bids we received, but I have no doubt that the lower bids would have wound up costing more due to not taking enough factors into account. This team is worth every penny. Also, the quality of the work and craftsmanship is excellent. The team is detail-oriented and wants to get it right. They never bristled when we pointed out tiny details that needed addressing, they just fixed it! The project turned out beautifully and I feel so happy every time I walk into the space. I could not be more thrilled with how this project has turned out. I would absolutely encourage anyone looking to do a construction project to reach out to this team. You won't be disappointed!

Ran had great ideas that added to the success of the finished bathroom. Communication was really good, and everyone who worked on the project was professional. The project was finished on time and with a minimal amount of disruption. From start to finish we have been happy.

Ran and his team just finished a big project for me and I could not be happier with the results. My family and I used Ran to convert an existing garage/pool house into a one bedroom ADU with a full bath and kitchen. Ran and his team provided everything you’d want from a contractor: reasonable timelines, transparent pricing, and excellent communication. Ran is also very helpful with design ideas and had a great plan to maximize storage space in the kitchen and elsewhere. They estimated six months for the project and finished the whole thing in under five. A member of Ran’s team was here working on some aspect of the project every day, including Saturdays. I never had to ask “where is everyone” or “what is progressing.” It was obvious that things were moving along. I am thrilled with the finished product. It is well-executed and beautiful. I will definitely use DKR for my next renovation project.

Run. Dont walk to have Ran tackle any remodel you are contemplating. We asked several friends if they have had a good experience with a contractor. All answered “meh” and didnt feel comfortable passing on contact information. A co-worker said he had the guy for us. From beginning to end, Ran was involved. If you are not exactly sure of your remodel plans, Ran is a visionary. He helped maximize our floor plan while keeping the look and feel of the space beautiful. All awhile keeping a mindful watch on the budget and work of scope. When decisions did arise where an overage could occur, he laid out all options at different price levels. Ran also brings a team that believes in his business. There was not a revolving door of new workers each day. From painting to electrical to flooring to demo. Guys from each team were respectful and cleaned up everyday. The constant contact with all his project managers (Albert, Fernando and Jose) made the day to day dealings smooth. He also has an amazing interior designer, Stacey. She is a must use. In the end, you know you are pleased and happy with the work completed when you could be 100% certain to refer family, friend or a co-worker DKR construction. And that is exactly how I feel. I did I mention he finished ahead of schedule??!!
