Dream Home Developers completed a full renovation of our apartment in a high-rise building in Edgewater, New Jersey. Renovating in a high-rise is a complicated process, but their team handled everything professionally—from permits and approvals with the town’s building department to coordination with building management. The project included new plumbing and electrical work, as well as complete renovations of the kitchen and bathrooms and replacement of the windows. The quality of the work was excellent. Chris Facini, the project manager, was professional, reliable, responsible, and always on time. He guided us through every stage and handled every aspect of the project professionally. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend Chris and the Dream Home Developers team.

I have hired Dream Home Developers to install the new sectional siding, repaint the front door and install new garage doors. Eric has brought samples, recommended designs and colors and made digital simulations to help us make decisions about the materials. The work was performed on schedule which we agreed upon, with great quality. Overall, we have had excellent experience from the beginning to the completion of the project. We had a phenomenal experience with Dream Homes. We bought a very dated condo/townhouse in Edgewater after walking the property with Chris Facini to get an idea of what we could do to the space and a rough estimate of how much it might cost. Feeling confident with that information we proceeded to remodel almost every inch of our space except for the already renovated bathrooms. We did the entire remodel remotely because we were in Florida for the winter. Dream Homes included us in all the decisions via FaceTime and text. Ww really felt included weekly and sometimes daiky as our project progressed. We only visited once during our months long project. They completed everything on time too. We could not be happier we chose Dream Homes!! We absolutely love our new space!!

We hired Chris and his team at Dream Home Developers to remodel our living room. We are new homeowners and the process of renovating any room can be daunting - given the costs, hoping it comes out the way you envision etc. Working with Chris and his son Eric made it much easier - the communication was top notch, the subcontractors were all excellent and did high quality work. We bought a 1920's house and before the living room was bare - it now looks like a new living room with lots of molding, an arch separating our living room and library, a built-in window seat. We hired Dream Home Developers (DHD) to do a gut renovation and extension of our existing home, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Working with the plans drawn up by Marios (a great architect sharing the same office with DHD), they took our house down to the studs, extended the foundation to push the house out, modified the layouts of the living areas and rooms, and replaced all the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Dream Home Developers are not only great builders, but also great communicators. The father-son team of Chris and Eric was always responsive, professional, and transparent. They provided us with a detailed project plan and a budget/costs spreadsheet that we reviewed together every week to make sure everything was on track. They also had great relationships with their subcontractors, who were skilled, reliable, and respectful. DHD were able to schedule different crews working at the same time, which made the project progress faster. The entire project was estimated to be completed in 9-10 months, but they were able to complete the project in only 7 months! Who has ever heard of that in the construction business!? We hired DHD to do a kitchen renovation (inclusive of wood floor replacement) for our apartment. Let's get past the fact that this project was to be completed in mid September but was just now (12/12/2022) completed. Let's get past the fact that I was presented with a contract (by Ted) which detailed the scope of work and payment schedule and I while I adhered to the payment schedule, Ted was seeking partial last payment (before the project was completed) when the contract specified that the last payment was due upon the COMPLETION of the project. Let's get past the fact that they installed my self cleaning oven SANS air upper and/or lower air intake (the installation manual detailed this). This simply means that should I use the "self cleaning" function and it does not have the air intakes, the oven will overheat, automatically shut off, and damage the surrounding areas, not to mention, void your warranty. Here is what I cannot get past. On several occasions, I had a guy come to the apartment to fix issues and each time, he was argumentative or made the issue worse (like using his house keys to fix a cabinet shelf). There was an issue of having 2 different colors of grout on the bathroom floor tiles done back in 2018. (the contractor that did that blunder is also reviewed on this site). I wanted to see if they could fix that - make it all one color at least. I was told that was not a problem and they would do it free of charge. Please look at these pictures and let me know if you believe this is a good grout job or if it looks like a kid took some spackle and just tacked it onto the grout space and now it just looks perpetually dirty. On the final day (also the day in which I presented the last payment as per contract). I noticed that the caulk around the bathtub was coming off (another stand up job by Dream House Home Improvements) and thought it was a VERY simple ask to have DHD re-caulk the bathtub. Well.... you take a look and judge for yourself. Pictures below: 1) Lack of detail on kitchen project - they thought this was acceptable when they placed the cabinet doors in the new kitchen 2) Caulk job 1 week after "fixing" 3) Grout job fix 4) Close up of grout job fix 5) Installation of new cabinets 6) Forgot a piece of wood and couldn't get it out so they cut it and now it will forever be not flush with the wood floor

Quality of Ted's work is very good. Very responsive communication via phone/text/email. Any issues that were brought up were corrected in a timely manner. My family and I are happy with the way our house came out.

Dream Home Developers is a true gem and a great company to work with. When we started thinking about renovating the exterior of our house, the project felt very daunting. True, we had a few examples of the design we liked but we had no idea how it would look on our house. Every company we contacted, either directed us to an architect or wanted a pretty high price for the rendering of the design. Dream Home Developers is a great team. They had people helping us throughout the whole process. They took us on tours to showcase their completed projects, discussed and rendered multiple versions of the design, and provided or recommended subcontractors for all the work that we needed done. What impressed us the most though was that they stayed on the budget. There were no deviations from the original estimate except for the items that we decided to add on during the project. The company also paid close attention to our requests, answered all our questions and addressed any concerns that we had during the project. They were very accessible too - we were in constant contact and had very quick response to our inquiries. The only one thing that we wish they did differently was using specific products/materials in their renderings so we could order those specific items to achieve the desired look. Overall, it was a successful project, and we highly recommend Dream Home Developers.

Dream home Developers just finished my kitchen renovation and they did an amazing job. I was very apprehensive about hiring a contractor due to bad past experiences and really asked a ton of questions- they assured me along the entire project. I am so happy with the work they completed. I kept springing new projects on them and they went with the flow and responded to me so quickly which was refreshing. The entire team was professional and knowledgeable. The tile work is amazing, the painting is perfect. I LOVE my new kitchen. Kitchens are tough as they are the heart of the home, but they made this as pain free as possible. I would highly recommend.

Ted and his crew did an exceptional job renovating our family den. Alex and the rest of the crew were very detailed and made sure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. Their trim expert did a tremendous job creating our custom wall unit. The quality of every aspect was top notch. They installed new doors and new trim around the room and painted.

I'm very pleased that we made the right choice to go with them because the entire process went as smoothly as the bidding process. Ted Papas was my primary POC for the renovation and he was very responsive to me throughout the entire project. Of course, there were things that come up after the fact and/or we changed our minds on certain things. Ted was very patient and worked with us to find a reasonable resolution. Along the way, there were hiccups that popped up but Ted always showed up immediately and took care of everything that he said he would. I would strongly recommend Dream Home Developers to anyone looking for a trustworthy contractor to renovate their home.

Chris, Ted, Eric- everyone at DHD- has been amazing to work with! They completely transformed our 99 year old home into a gorgeous, modern, DREAM home. I was very reluctant about taking on such a large renovation during Covid, and even more due to the fact that a handful of our friends had horrible experiences renovating their homes. But from the first meeting to the very end, we have been impressed by DHD. I would 100% refer DHD to anyone who is looking for a construction management firm to do small and big projects for their home. I never thought our house could look the way it does now. We hired Dream Home Developers to finish our basement. It was a little more complicated because of the addition of a bathroom and an egress window, not to mention all the existing pipes we wanted to hide. They did a wonderful job building out the space and soffit to maximize the useable area. We could not be happier with the end result.

We hired Dream Home Developers to construct a small addition to our home and expand our kitchen. They also remodeled a bathroom, laundry room, and built a new deck.
