Jason and his team at Equity Builders were an absolute pleasure to work with. We interviewed several contractors for our demolition of an existing home and entire new home build. Within minutes of meeting Jason, I knew he was the right guy for the job. For any construction project, getting along well with your contractor is almost as important as their quality of work. Jason was easy to get along with and we had no problem communicating throughout our entire build process. After we chatted with him for a while, he took us to see some of the homes he had built/was building. The quality was second to none. It was a testament to his relationship with his clients, that he was able to just call a couple of them up and they opened their homes to us, proud to show off his work. We started our process with Jason during the height of the pandemic. It was uncharted waters for everyone, but he was always clear with his communication. There were obviously some "surprises" as prices for materials and labor were going up at an unpredictable rate. Jason helped explain to us what was going on, and was able to find some other subcontractors to use when he thought the original ones were not being fair with their prices. Overall, we really appreciated his guidance through these crazy times. Jason's subs were all great as well. He holds them to his standard, which is a high one. He was at the job site constantly, making sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to be doing, and how he wanted it done. His years of experience allowed him to make sure there was little downtime on the job site. There was always someone there working, but never stepping on each other's toes. He really managed the schedule well, and was able to complete our entire project in the timeline he gave. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Jason again. There is no way our project would have come out exactly how we wanted, without his expertise. Jason and his team really care about their clients and made sure that we were happy. Of all the decisions we made in our home build, hiring Equity Builders was easily our best one.

I first worked with Equity Builders back in 2012 with my first large remodel. That project consisted of the master bed/bath, kids bath, and front façade. We later did a more complicated project in which we excavated the back yard and created a basement for a large family room below the house. I did not initially know of Equity Builders but they were recommended by my designer and we feel lucky to have found them. Even with three young kids and workers in and out for months, we were always well informed of exactly what was taking place each day. If there were issues or decisions, the options were clearly communicated so I could make the best decision for the usability, aesthetics, and finances of the project. In 2015, I decided to build a house from the ground up in a new lot. There was no one else I wanted to work with – Equity Builders was the clear choice. I developed a good relationship with Jason (the owner of Equity Builders) and his team so I knew what to expect. The process with them was smooth despite inevitable challenges that came with the property. When embarking on any large project, communication and trust are key. That never waivered with Jason and his crew. They pushed hard to be on time. They were on budget and even tried to value engineer the project on my behalf. All in all, it was a pleasure to work with them and I will be enjoying my new home for years to come.

Equity Builders Group was great to work with, and was always responsive and honest about expectations and the stages of work we were going through during our home remodel. I appreciated their candor and willingness to show up and make sure things were done right.
