Fallen Tree Construction

I have been through multiple renovations in the Dallas area, and working with Fallen Tree Construction was by far the best experience I have had. Phillip, Darcie, and Daniel did incredible work with the music studio addition over my garage. There were numerous details and non-standard approaches required for the nuances of this project, and they nailed each one of them without complaint. When there were issues, they made them right immediately and didn't drag their feet. The communication was excellent. The billing was detailed and straightforward. Above all, Phillip operates with integrity and takes great pride in his workmanship. After the project was complete, an issue popped up a couple of months later. Instead of avoiding calls or delaying, he immediately checked out the problem and made it right, free of additional charge. I can't recommend Fallen Tree highly enough.

Phillip and his team are great. His wife did the design and his project manager stayed in touch with us thoughout the process. He was up front with the cost and it was clear what the cost breakdown was. The cost did not change once the contract was signed except for optional change requests. We had a 1200 square foot second floor added to our house. The framers removed the old roof and had the second floor framed out and waterproofed in 10 days. It was amazing. They tarped the house each night when rain was expected which worked well. After construction was complete. He has returned to fix a couple things for free under his 1 year warranty with no questions asked. We are super happy with the work performed.

Fallen Tree did a total remodel of my home and I love the finished product. Having never done a project of this size, I highly recommend Phillip and Darcie as they helped me through the process. They are very creative and detail oriented and were able to solve issues that allowed a more open floor plan, always kept communication open via phone, email or text as well as meeting at the house to review options at certain stages. The work was completed on schedule and appreciated that they always had my budget in mind. Phillip, Darcie and everyone on their team did a fantastic job!

In 2020 we bought a very run down house in a historic neighborhood of Dallas. We hired Phillip Mason of Fallen Tree Construction to take on the job. Not only did Phillip provide the architectural design, but he and his team helped to navigate the often frustrating permitting process and restrictions required by the city to maintain the historical integrity of the home. Phillip was patient and approachable throughout and he came up with creative solutions to problems which inevitably occur during a complex rebuild. When you spend over a year on a project that is as personal and fraught with risk as a total remodel of your home, you want to be sure the person in charge is hard working, trustworthy, and has a sense of humor when things may not be entirely funny. Phillip was that person for us. We can truly say we are very happy with the job he did and our “new-old” home.

We choose Fallen Tree Construction after meeting with a few builders. What we liked about FTC was how they listen to our needs prior to the build and understood how to accommodate us during the build as we were living at home during the build. Their work matched the aesthetic of our 1950's style home, having the addition blend nicely into the homes in our neighborhood. FTC also did a great job of communicating with us every step of the way during the build. As this was our first time having any construction of a large size done we appreciated the communication helping us understand the entire project from start to finish

We had a great experience working with Phillip and his team. We plan to do another renovation with them in a couple of years.

They made our dream garage come true. It wasn't easy to find somebody willing to take on our project. I contacted Phillip at FTC and he was willing to help us out. The process was as smooth as construction can go and they were patient with all the changes I made during the process. Thanks Phillip and Darce we love our new garage.

We loved working with Fallen Tree Construction! We did a very big remodel and are so happy with the results! Phillip is very knowledgeable about all things "home building" and was able to guide us through a process that we didn't know much about at all. He even made my lacquered ceiling dreams come true :) We would absolutely recommend FTC and hope to get to do another project with them in the future.

Phillip and Darcie were fabulous to work with. We would definitely recommend them to anyone! We thought about selling our 1700 sq ft home when we needed more space, but after meeting Phillip and discussing options we decided to add a 2nd story to our existing home. It was THE BEST DECISION! Philip always answered phone calls and texts messages and kept us up-to date on what to expect on the schedule. If problems ever popped up, they were taken care of immediately. We lived in our home, with our 2 small children, during the entire process and the crew was always courteous and polite. Do not hesitate to use Fallen Tree Construction.

FTC did a wonderful job renovating our drab,old, sad master bathroom into a blissful retreat. It is a small space they opened up and now it feels bigger. You can't get nicer people than these two. Their crews were also super professional and did an amazing job. No matter the size of the job, FTC is the way to go.

Everyone at Fallen Tree Construction, from Phillip and Darcie on down have been the best. I am really glad they responded to my email. Finally, my wife is ecstatic over how beautiful it turned out.

The work was high quality, the care for our home was superb and the attention to detail was terrific. Phil and Darcy helped us out of a terrible situation and fixed many problems and created a beautiful home. Highly recommend their services.
