Fowler Construction

For 6 weeks I've been jerked around with promises of an estimate for an insurance claim, causing me great anxiety because USAA initially refused to cover the mold caused by their recommended contractor. I was promised it would be done Wednesday, then Friday, then Monday, EVERY WEEK. Then I was told it was completed, but still did not receive it. When I called, I was told that Tyler Brown was no longer with Fowler. I was told that a John Campbell took over Tyler's work, but after two calls, John Campbell has not called back. Today I called again and Jay Jay told me that she just texted Scott to call me. I asked if she even had my phone number and she said "No, what is it". More of the runaround by Fowler. Now we're in a horrible predicament. We couldn't live in the house due to toxic mold, so thinking that Fowler Construction would finally be working on this, we came up to Northern Michigan where we have a cabin. How in the world do we find someone else when we're not there? I can't tell you how sorry I am that I ever trusted Fowler Construction as a reputable firm!

Caveat emptor, CONSUMER BEWARE, to anyone even thinking of doing business with this company because it is close to McMinn and Monroe County! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR ENERGY!! I have been working with this "company" since July, and since then have been changed over hands among three different of John Fowler's employees. The first employee, Roger, did an estimate on a rehabilitation loan for one of my clients. Him and my client worked out a lot of the details, and Roger said that he only needed John to sign off on it. It was over $45,000 worth of work. Well, closer to appraisal time I called in because we hadn't heard anything from Roger and I was told by JJ that Roger was no longer with the company. Then I called back in and a Tiffany answered and she was working on the file with us. Then, Tiffany started to not answer phone calls and not "be there". So, I posted on Facebook asking how to get ahold of John Fowler. (The owner of Flowers & Servpro in Athens). His wife messaged me and told me that Roger was still with the company, and then gave me John's number. So, we felt lied to at this point; however, every time we were in communication, we remained professional and polite.
