Wonderful experience! We interviewed 6 contractors and were very happy we chose to work with Chris Frattaroli. From our first meeting through the end of our 7 month construction project, Chris was hands on, easy to work with and a great collaborator. The subcontractors were all professional, reliable and did excellent work. Chris provided a transparent cost breakdown at the beginning of our renovation and stayed on budget. Chris and his team just completed a full brick townhouse renovation for my wife and I and we couldn’t be more pleased. The estimate was very realistic, came in right on time and budget, and with virtually no follow up punch list items all while completing to our exact specifications and design plans. They masterfully worked around supply chain problems, handled unforeseen issues on the fly and were always very accommodating to desired changes mid project. I have the highest regard for Chris who heads the Frattaroli Group. In the past few years, he has demonstrated that he is a capable developer and knowledgeable in his field. I have just finished supervising a renovation/restoration project with Chris Fattaroli and his competent and professional crew at my condo townhouse complex (9 units). The townhouses were built in 1986. Frattaroli DG removed the old slate patios and installed new ones; two were expanded where space allowed. FDG also removed the old slider doors and installed new Anderson slider doors. Other miscellaneous chores were taken care of as well. The men were courteous, arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the day. The job was completed within a two week time frame. Going forward, I will definitely hire Frattaroli Development Group when more projects need to be addressed. I highly recommend FDG - they are a professional company and personable too! We hired Chris and his group for our original home renovation project in 2015, which was a complete renovation. They did a fantastic job and completely transformed our home. Everything was done on time and within the budget. The proposal and invoicing was crystal clear, with detailed itemization allowing for complete customization. I am a residential and commercial landlord in Greenwich, CT and have been using Chris Frattaroli for all sorts of construction work for over 25 years. His firm has done complete gut renovations of multiple buildings for me but is also always willing to do smaller jobs such as kitchen and bath renovation on short notice in a timely manor and always at a fair price.

Chris from this group helped us with our home project, renovating the bathroom, painting the wall and trim, redoing the floor etc and we are satisfied with all the work done! Chris is reliable and ensured the work was done at good quality. Price is reasonable in the market, not cheap but not expensive neither. They also found some issue of the original condition of the floor and may incur additional work and charge. But instead of simply telling us to replace the original hardwood floor incurring more costs, they tried to see if they can still stay with the original planned work to get acceptable condition of the floor and save the cost. All work was finished on time with good quality. Their group took our business seriously and got straight to the business once they knew we were also seriously considering doing the project with them. In a word, we are happy about the work done at our home and thank Chris's team for the work.

I hired Chris and his team to re-finish my basement. Chris provided timely and detailed quotes and was very responsive answering questions. His team arrived promptly every day and got jobs finished as per the plan, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The completed work was of high quality, and we are very satisfied with the end result. Costs were within our expected budget, and Chris was open to revising plans to lower our spend.

I hired Chris based on recommendation from a friend who was doing major renovations in their home. They told me he was competent, fair priced and could adapt to my demands. He didn't disappoint. I had no prior relationship with Chris. We schedule a first meeting to assess the project. He came with his carpenter, engineer and glass contractor to give me the best answer. He built a spec to establish exactly what we envisioned. The scope of the remodeling involved removing the old stair case, built a new modern one and add one extra floor. The project took less than a month and involved carpenters, painters, refinishing the wood, electrical and glass. Each crew was a delight to work with, I personally oversaw each detail. They were master at their craft, arrived on time every day and we were able to communicate when a problem arose. The quality of the work was top notch, they took real pride of the work they did. Chris used subcontractors who were knowledgeable, skilled and competent in their respective trades. They were conscientious about following project specifications and vision. Especially in my case, where I wanted something very modern looking. They tidied up at the end of each workday. I also found them trustworthy, I felt comfortable allowing them access inside my home. The project management and Chris' prior experience in construction, permits requirements really paid off. He was able to plan, coordinate and manage the activities of different work crews effectively. He remained closely involved in overseeing the project from start to finish. His excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and commitment to follow through are assets which enable him to juggle the extensive details involved in our project. His familiarity with building codes and dealing with the city hall, made the process hassle free when it came to building permits and inspection. To conclude, I highly recommend Frattaroli Dvlpt Group. I was very pleased with the final product and extremely impressed with his work as a general contractor. In a world where shoddy workmanship and poor service are too common (fired the previous contractors...), Chris is a rare find. Chris and his crew did a fantastic job remodeling an upstairs bathroom for us. It was done quickly, on budget, and with a confident expertise. Chris was attentive to our questions valued our opinions and he always returned our phone calls. There was a high level of trust we achieved with Chris because he was honest and he genuinely cared about our project. His infectious smile and great attitude made us feel at ease immediately. Fratarolli came up with an idea for more storage space for us by transforming unused attic area behind a laundry room into a beautiful and spacious cedar closet with ample hanging space replete with wool carpet. Work was completed ahead of schedule and with a very careful eye to keeping costs down. What an improvement to our everyday life this added space made! Another project was an update of an old stone fireplace with the addition of a lovely wood beam mantel and flat screen with Sonos. We’d recommend his eye for good detail and timely under-budget finishes to anyone in Fairfield county.
