We first met Jeff (and his remarkable wife, Margaret, an accomplished real estate agent) in early 2018, when we were house hunting in Westchester. One of the properties we considered was a yet-to-be built home by Grasso Development Corp. But the timing just wasn’t right -- we needed to move much sooner than the home was going to be built, so we purchased another home instead. Two years later, we decided to build a pool and a pool house in our backyard, and we immediately knew we would want Jeff to build our pool house. Our meeting with him two years prior had left us with such a positive impression that we did not even consider anyone else. As it turned out, we could not have made a better choice. Jeff belongs to a class of professionals in the construction and home improvement industry that has become all but extinct. He is the consummate professional, a man who stands behind his word and takes pride in his company and work. Honest, fair, responsive, and accountable are just a few adjectives to describe Jeff. When contrasted with the many other construction and home improvement professionals we have interacted with (both for our current home as well as prior homes), Jeff stands out. The quality of his workmanship is second to none. Cutting corners is not part of Jeff's lexicon. Notably, we had many discussions with Jeff about what options did or did not justify their expense. We are homeowners who appreciate high quality but also are pragmatic in our approach. Jeff always listened, shared his views, provided guidance, but never pressured us to do something we felt was not worth the investment. The result of Jeff's work is nothing short of stunning. While our new pool and patio are beautiful in their own right, it is the pool house Jeff built us that is our property's crown jewel. Built to match the style of our main residence, it functions as both a pool and guest house, with a high-end bathroom and fully-equipped kitchenette. It is our coup de cœur and our family's favorite hangout spot. Along the way, we have come to know and befriend Jeff and Margaret; they are first-rate people. Tellingly, when we were invited to a housewarming party at their new home last summer (a home that Jeff built for his family and that is a stunner as well), many of the guests were current or former Grasso clients. Few builders leave on good terms with their clients, much less earn their clients’ trust, respect, and friendship. We would recommend Jeff in a heartbeat to anyone looking to build a home or addition to their home. Thank you, Jeff, for building us a one-of-a-kind pool house!

I have done three major projects with Grasso: two building renovations and one new construction project and they have been fabulous to work with. The quality of the workmanship, scheduling and performance has been top notch. Perhaps more important, my customers recognize the quality of the work they have done and that reflects well on me. I have always come to Grasso with a budget that is too small and a time frame that is too tight. Somehow, they make it work for me. Grasso is family run and they are honorable people. I have never paid more for a job than the original estimate. They probably won't be the least expensive when you get your initial quote because the Grassos have quality enhancements built into their budget. So, when all is said and done, you won't be nickel and dime'd over little stuff and you will probably end up saving money. I will definitely use them for my next project. I strongly suggest you get them in on the planning stage of your project because they can help you save money through cost effective planning and design.

Grasso Development Corp., performed a major renovation & addition on my home in Rye, NY. Their work was exceptional both inside & on the stucco exterior. We did an entire house renovation with Jeff and all the wonderful people who work with Grasso Development. Everyone was very knowledgeable and worked well together. We hired Jeff Grasso to complete a major renovation in 2004. Nine years later, I would not change my decision. I highly recommend him and his crew. He is a very honest, and competent. His workers are diligent and considerate. Jeff worked with us to make changes to the plan, and kept within the financial limits.
