My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Halpin Construction, LLC recently completed a kitchen remodel, hardwood floors and bathroom remodel for me at my home in San Mateo. The team at Halpin Construction, LLC did outstanding work, were friendly, respected my home and cleaned up at the end of each work day. The attention to detail, timely scheduling and overall work on the project was fantastic. Peter Halpin (the owner) gave me a cost to do the work and he completed all work on budget with no additional charges.

We could not have been in better hands. It was the perfect storm. We returned from vacation to a leak that caused damage to two rooms and a hallway in our house. Within 1 and 1/2 hours, Halpin Construction was there to assess the damage, tear out the carpeting and set up fans. While I returned to work, they worked diligently to put our house back together. Peter and his subs' competence, attention to detail and quality work were immensely appreciated!

Peter and his crew performed excellent and high quality work. He took our ideas and turned them exactly into what we had envisioned! We are extremely happy and will definitely use him again, as well as recommend to our family and friends! When an issue arose, Peter was easily contactable and made sure revisions were made either immediately or by the following day. On our move-in weekend, we found an issue with the new plumbing - which would've been very serious if gone un-identified. We contacted Peter on Saturday evening, and the plumber came over on Sunday morning to identify and fix the problem within a few hours. Minor issues with the paint job were touched up when pointed out. Work performed: renovated master bath w/ heated flooring; customized carpentry for built-in-bookshelf, breakfast nook, and stairwell (handrail, balluster, newel/cap); installed new flooring, new doors, crown moulding, and recessed lighting; replaced baseboard trim; performed general electrical work

Halpin Construction has gone above and beyond our expectation! The entire crew were very hardworking, friendly, professional, and accommodating. Peter and the staff helped turn our bathroom ideas into reality. We were very pleased with the quality of work. We would highly recommend using Halpin Construction for your next home improvement project. Overall, it was a great experience!

We chose to work with Halpin Construction out of three GCs that we were in contact with and submitted offers. Our main focus point were (in this order) quality, timeline, and cost. We couldn't have been happier with the job Haplin guys did. Everything went exactly according to the plan. I have some experience with construction, I know how easy it is to cut corners, and they didn't cut any corners. The remodel was performed in time and within cost estimate, even with me scope-creeping several times as the job progressed. We will work with them at every opportunity in the future, and we highly recommend them to everyone.

We have been working with Halpin Construction for the past 15+ years on a variety of project. They have rebuilt 3 of our bathrooms, rebuilt our master bedroom, repaired severe damage from a tree falling on our house as well as smaller projects. The team is efficient, extremely skilled and easy to work with. They do great work, are trustworthy and most importantly, clean up after they stop work every day. We especially like working with Peter who also gives us great ideas on how to approach our projects. Highly recommend.
