For my money, Jeff is the best remodeler in Ashland. He listens well, he offers good advice when asked and/or when it's just needed, he has a very good design sense, he coordinates multiple subs on complicated jobs well, his "stable" of subs are top notch, and his initial cost estimates are accurate. As a former finish carpenter in west L.A., he has particularly good skills in both design and creation of beautiful wood accents.

My wife and I could not be happier with the results of our construction project that Hamlett Construction did for us. The project required demolition of and replacement of 2200 sq. ft. of exterior deck with special attention to waterproofing. Our original decks were only 10 years old and had failed (extensive wood rot) due to poor design and installation. I am certain that this will never occur again for the life of the house. Jeff was conscientious, resourceful and fair throughout this project.

We hired Jeff to remodel our master bathroom. He is the absolute best to work with; friendly, honest, knowledgeable and easy going with outstanding organization, communication and attention to detail. The job was impeccably organized and efficient and his subs were all top notch. The final result is highest quality and looks spectacular. We would absolutely hire Jeff again.

I chose Jeff as he has done work previously for us and I knew the quality of his work. The last project was an extensive Kitchen Remodel. He redesigned our working area expanding our functional area by eliminating wasted space. He or his subcontractors were there every day, and he stopped by to check in with the subcontractors regularly. The quality of his work was superb, his subs were great, and everything was completed smoothly.

Jeff Hamlett was the lead carpenter on our home construction and did an incredible job, with outstanding attention to detail. When we decided to completely redo our 800 square foot basement space, Hamlett Construction was selected for the project. They installed a steel beam so that we could remove the structural columns, and turned the empty space into a wine cellar and wine tasting room, an exercise room, and beautiful media room, a half bath, and small storage room. The result was both amazing and beautiful. People who saw the before couldn't believe the after. With great eye to detail and use of high-end finishes, Hamlett Construction created spaces that completed our home, all at a reasonable price.

Jeff Hamlett is more than a contractor, he is a master at carpentry. He not only expanded and remodeled our kitchen to suit our 1886 historic home, Jeff's finished project is a beautiful kitchen/dining area that is also ADA compliant. The kitchen/dining area exceeds our expectations.

Hamlett Construction won the bid on our home remodeling job based on the quality of his work and attention to detail and his price quote was competitive, but not the lowest . Hamlett Construction does an outstanding job selecting and managing subcontractors, material selection and final finish details. They payed detailed attention to job site cleanliness and finish the job on schedule with a minimum disruption to the household. Jeff Hamlett has a masters eye for material selection, finish and color matching. The work was completed to the highest standard. Both my wife and I enjoyed working with Jeff on the project and appreciate his detailed work, patience with our questions and "ideas" and attention to any follow up items. We hired Hamlett Construction to add more workspace to the interior of our medical building on North Main Street in Ashland. We were very impressed with the overall attention to detail in everything Jeff and his crew did right down to making sure the work zones was spotless [I kid you not!!] every night so our patients and staff didn't walk into a mess! We were so impressed by his work ethic that we've hired him again to take on an exterior face-lift project to our building which will start this summer. We highly recommend Hamlett Construction!
