My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Wanted to add a covered porch to my house so I called Herring Builders, I'm glad I did. James and his staff where friendly and professional. The quality of the materials was great. My porch came out beautiful and better than I imagined. I definitely will be using them again highly recommend Herring Builders for any of your home needs.

Our home was built in 1906. When we purchased it(some 30 years ago), we did so with the intent of restoring the home to its original stately condition. During this time, we have used the professional services of many independent contractors in our area. Unfortunately, some not very talented. Our latest update included the installation of a very old, large stained glass window in a area at the end of a long hallway some 1 1/2 stories from ground level. We knew this would require the craftsman-ship of a "talented" builder who would be willing to work with our individual circumstances by incorporating this unique architectural treasure into a beautiful focal point. Our desire was for the window to appear to be a very large" framed" stained glass " picture." Mr. Herring worked with us; made suggestions; took all of our ideas and respected our ultimate goal of making this structural change/addition to our home not appear as an add-on addition. The result: a beautiful focal point for anyone entering our home. He is a very talented, eager to please professional.

After numerous less-than-satisfactory experiences with builders/contractors, I hired James Herring to perform several home repairs. He did exceptional work with which I was thoroughly satisfied. Since then, James has completed several additional projects with similar results. I now rely on James for all my construction projects/home repairs. He is kind, knowledgeable, and very skilled at his craft. He makes an effort to acquire materials at the most economical rates, thus keeping my costs to a minimum.
