Highmark Construction takes great pride in helping Lancaster Area home and business owners enhance the quality, versatility and value of their spaces. Owner Doug Martin has worked in construction and building-related industries for over 30 years. The first experience he gained in the construction arena was in the field as a masonry laborer, where he honed his skills laying blocks, bricks and stones, as well as pouring concrete, on his way to becoming a full-fledged mason. Working for Weber Builders in the late 80’s, Doug continued adding to his construction experience and skills with a variety of projects, spanning all facets of building and remodeling. In the early 1990s, he founded his first company, D. Martin Enterprise, where he continued to grow his reputation for delivering work of the highest quality, as well as for working closely with his clients to provide them with the best value for their needs. After a short hiatus from the industry, Doug spent seven years as a job supervisor for Earl King Inc. a Lancaster based general contractor. With all this experience under his tool belt, Doug was confident that there would never be a better time to fulfill his entrepreneurial vision, and Highmark Construction was created to proudly serve the residents and business owners of Lancaster and the surrounding areas.
