HKS Construction is a full-service new construction and remodeling company with our corporate office located in the heart of Wilmington, North Carolina. We are a 27 year-old family owned business specializing in commercial and residential projects. William Hartnett, owner of HKS Construction, takes pride in perfection down to every minute detail of each plan. Building and design have been lifelong passions for Mr. Hartnett starting at 15 years of age. To this day he is present on every job site overseeing each development, mentoring carpenters, collaborating with clientele, and still getting his hands dirty. Our team is comprised of trained carpenters, foremen, superintendents, and administrative personnel specializing in a diverse range of skills such as painting, custom woodworking, tiling, siding, flooring, metal work, equipment installation, conceptual design, accounting, and advertising; all while possessing customer service and satisfaction as top priorities. HKS has established great relationships with some of the best subcontractors in the Southeast, whom are experts in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. We are an equal opportunity, drug-free employer.
