Tyler, Kim, and the HomeSmith crew are great to work with. They provide valuable ideas and truly care about quality! We are very pleased with our railing project.

We hired Tyler to replace a sidewalk and steps. He said it would be cheaper to recover the steps. They had to redo the steps 3 times and still we have a crack in one. We were told the last time they should last without cracks for years. The sidewalk was going to be a specific width which was changed without our knowledge but which we ended up paying for the additional cement. But the big problem is SPAULDING or put another way, chips and pits in the sidewalk. When I ask Tyler about it he told me what it was and that it couldn't be skimmed over. He didn't say how it could be fixed or that they would fix it. I've since read that it can be fixed by replacing it. I ask about the warranty and was told that neither was covered! I ask what was covered and have not received a reply. I had believed that they would be good for their work. I also thought they wanted all their customers satisfied. We are neither happy nor satisfied. If I could give them a minus no star I would.

I don’t usually do reviews but made an exception here because we were so happy with our recent basement finish job by HOMESMITH LLC. Tyler and Kim are just awesome to work with. From initial meeting through all stages of the project they were always there communicating with us, giving updates On progress or advice if we were unsure about something. The project went very smoothly and we were thrilled when it came in ahead of schedule and under budget. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We worked with Homesmith for our patio project this summer. It was a pleasure working with Tyler and Kimberly throughout the whole process. They helped us come up with a design that we loved and helped us make smart trade-offs to stay within budget. They did a fantastic job matching stain with our existing patio furniture and we are very pleased with the craftsmanship. Most importantly, they are good people and fun to be around. I would recommend them to anyone!

Homesmith Construction totally wins our approval... While we have been totally loving our completed beautiful patio cover and kitchen tiled backsplash by Homesmith and team, they now have wrapped up their incredible work on our basement finishing project. Very impressed as usual with Tyler’s talents in the field as well as managing his duties as the owner and licensed General Contractor of the company. On top of everything else that he carries out so professionally, he still manages to uphold his promise of “Delivering Peace of Mind” to his clients throughout their construction projects. Tyler and Kimberly at Homesmith were wonderful to work with on our basement project. They worked with us to turn our vision of a modern Scandi / Nordic aesthetic into reality that fit within our budget, working with us through multiple iterations prior to signing a contract. Tyler is a pro and answered all of our questions and concerns, and maintained constant and timely communication regarding the status of the project throughout. He did his research and came up with creative solutions to any project design and material requirements that we proposed. The project stayed on-time and on-budget - the final budget being within a few dollars of the original estimate. Our unfinished basement is now a flex space, a bedroom with a walk-in closet, and a bathroom. We are extremely happy with the final results!

We worked Homesmith on three projects over the last year and were thrilled with the process and outcome every time. Tyler and his team were responsive, communicative, collaborative. Even with the inevitable ups and downs of any project, we always felt like we were in the loop and could trust that the project would be done well. I worked with Tyler and his team to finish my basement, from nothing but exposed piping, concrete walls and floor into a finished rec room, bedroom, bathroom, storage room and utility room that all look fantastic. The process was outstanding at every step. Tyler worked with me to create the plans for what I wanted and listened to my requests for minor changes in the planning process. His team were all a delight to have in my home - kind, friendly, thoughtful, respectful of my home, and patient with me when I had questions, and they've done a phenomenal job on every aspect of the work. They left the place clean and tidy at the end of every day, and made sure that I was happy with everything throughout. The team was highly receptive to changes of plan and additional work that cropped up as we went along, but I was never pressured into anything - all possible options were laid out for me and there was no pressure to choose any particular one, but they offered their recommendation when I asked. They came in on budget and on time, and they were upfront and honest throughout. Communication was always prompt and effective. I would highly, highly recommend HOMESMITH LLC to anyone looking to do renovations. I will have absolutely no hesitation in working with them again in the future.

I found Homesmith LLC in the Senior's Blue Book - I was in a rehab facility and I could not return to my home until I had handrails installed so I gave Homesmith a call. That was a very fortunate call for me. Kimberly took the time to discuss my project and she gave me confidence that she and Tyler understood and had experience with accessibility construction. I was on a tight timeframe and also stuck in rehab but Kimberly and Tyler took care of everything from the first sight visit, to the installation plans, to the construction, and kept me in the loop for all of it. They got my handrails installed ahead of schedule and I'm now back in my home. I simply could not negotiate my stairs without my new handrails which are rock solid and very well designed. I could not be happier and highly recommend Homesmith LLC.
