Remodeled our basement. Ian and his team were superb. The quality of the work was exceptional down to every little detail. What I really appreciated was the ingenuity to make things better. For example, we had these incredible glass barn doors that were very unstable and they crafted solution to make them slide with ease. They take great pride in prepping the working area to protect your house and then leave it better than they found it. The team is very open and communicates throughout the project especially if there are any changes. Ian is transparent about the billing and I absolutely got the quality for the price. There is no doubt I will work with them again.

We cannot say enough about our fabulous experience with Ian and his crew at I.M. Contracting. This was a long overdue master bath/closet/bedroom renovation, and it could not have gone better. To say we are thrilled is an understatement. The construction trailer that sat at the house for many weeks has the motto "It's in the Details" emblazoned on the side, and that sums up this company perfectly. The attention to detail and quality of work was amazing, as was the desire to make sure we were completely happy with everything that was done. The guys who were at the house every day, Jack and Cody, became like family. We love our new space, but we were actually sorry to see them go. There would be zero doubt in our minds that if/when we need another project done in the future, we will pick up the phone and call Ian.

We're very happy with our experience working with IM Contracting. Our project was addition of a 10x10 mudroom/functional space. The project included all facets of construction of the addition; utilities; tile floor, cabinet, and countertop installation; custom shelf fabrication. Ian was very responsive, informative, and patient. He provided thorough responses when we asked questions. He understood we wanted to stay within a budget, set realistic expectations, and was transparent in how our design choices would impact costs. Ian's onsite team was great. Everyone handled themselves very politely and professionally. The craftsmanship was essentially perfect with attention to detail. We've received multiple compliments how the exterior of the addition is seamless with the existing structure, along with the interior appearance. They took great care to keep the area clean and minimize disruption. We wouldn't hesitate to work with IM Contracting again or to refer them for other homeowners.

Excellent communication, punctuality, experience and skilled workmanship are all key to the completion of a home renovation project. I.M.Contracting fulfilled all those requirements when I hired them to replace and install all new construction windows and trim in my townhouse. A small project on paper but a big project when one is going through the renovation process. Any unplanned changes (yes, these do occur) were clearly communicated, discussed and approved. From the first day of the original estimate to the last day when the furniture covers and carpet protector were removed I was thoroughly impressed. It was a pleasure having them work in my home and I would recommend I.M.Contracting to anyone that values the investment that they put into their home.

I.M. Contracting finished my pantry by making exact copies of cabinets to add to the existing cabinets and designed heavy duty shelves that are sturdy for my numerous cookbooks. The workmanship was excellent and the carpenters were efficient and cleaned up everything. They finished the project within budget and in the timeline quoted. I would not hesitate to hire I. M. Contracting for future remodeling.

We have worked with I.M. Contracting, Ltd on numerous projects and, if I could give them over five stars, I would. The work we have done with them includes conversion of an unfinished portion of our basement into a media room with kitchenette as well as a stucco renovation on the outside of our house. The professional and courteous manner in which this company conducts itself impresses me every time. They were honest and forthright with their estimates of cost and time when it came to my projects and kept me updated every step of the way. I felt comfortable working with every member of this organization and had no qualms about leaving them in my home unattended. The end products speak for themselves in the numerous compliments I have gotten from friends and family that visit my home. I would recommend this company to any one looking to do a minor or major home project or renovation.

We just completed our master bath remodel using I.M. Contracting, Ltd. Ian, the owner, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and made the process from listening to my design ideas and drafting the contract to making the selections at various local provider's shops go quite smoothly. He was respectful of my budget, but he also knew when a little overage would be money well spent. The craftsmen employed to do the work showed up on time and were skilled, polite and took great care to protect the furnishings/rugs and to keep dirt and dust to a minimum. Most important of all, we are thrilled with the end result, a beautiful, functional bathroom for years to come.

Ian was very professional during the estimating process, we worked through several budget issues. We hired IM Contracting for our exterior renovation which included new roof, soffits & gutters, modification to dormer window roofs, significant siding repairs, 4 replacement windows and new window casing on 8 windows, new door casing, new porch roof and exterior paint work. IMC crews started on time, showed up every day they were supposed to, communicated with us about the progress and despite significant weather delays finished ahead of schedule. My wife and I are very happy with the work

We recently completed a kitchen and family room remodel with I.M. Contracting. Overall, we were very satisfied with the end product and appreciated the team’s detail-oriented process and helpful suggestions along the way. Ian was always professional and in communication with us throughout the project. Jack was extremely easy to work with and managed all aspects of the project day-to-day. From our first meeting to our last we could always talk with Ian about any questions we had or discuss any details of the project. He helped us through the process of selecting all the materials, aspects of the design, stying within budget, and developing the renovation plans. At one point during the renovation, we had some questions about a design and engineering issue. Ian and Jack met us first thing the next morning to the discuss the issue, recommended several solutions, and quickly got it done. It was just one example of how it was easy to work with the team and also feel comfortable that the work was being done right. Any model remodel is a big investment of time and money. The team was straightforward with how long each aspect of the project would take and how much it would cost; which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to plan on how we would go about our daily routine with a work zone in the house. It’ll definitely get dirty but the team did a nice job of keeping the space sealed so our two-year old wouldn’t be able to get into remodel area. We did have a few post project issues. Ian was quick to get us on the schedule to fix them. A few suggestions to make the process easier. Be up front with your budget. We were very clear about our budget and expectations. Ian did a great job managing both of those aspects to give us a great project. Also, you should ask for communication from Jack everyday. It was nice to get updates even when we were on vacation. Picture messages go a long way. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend I.M. In the future.

I.M. Contracting, Ltd was contracted to repair my finished basement that had water damage from ceiling to floor. From the very beginning, prior to work starting, communication was open, processes were explained and timelines were given. When the work began, the workers were pure professionals, on time, courteous and super friendly. Everything was explained along the way. The work was done promptly, above and beyond my expectations. They treated my home as if it was their own. Upon completion, they took the time to clean up and make sure my basement looked better than it had before any of this happened. To say the least, I am very pleased with the job they did and would highly recommend I.M. Contracting, Ltd for any contracting work.

My husband and I hired I.M. Contracting, Ltd. to finish our basement. The finished space totaled 1,600 square feet, so it was a large project. We asked that the area be finished with a bedroom, full bathroom, entertainment area, bar, gym, and an area for our kids to play in. The project turned out beautifully and we are so thrilled with the final product. The quality of the work was exceptional. We also really appreciated all the time spent pre-planning to ensure that the finished product aligned with our vision. We look forward to spending a ton of time with family and friends in our new finished basement for years to come. I couldn't be happier with how the project turned out.
