At Seattle Tile, we have worked professionally with Iron & Pine over the last few years. Our experiences with the company and their clients have been lovely. I have been working with Iron & Pine for a few years and am always pleased with their attention to detail and their communication with their clients. I work with them for flooring, refinishing hardwoods, tile, and installation. They help guide their clients in making decisions that are beautiful aesthetically, and sustainable. Iron & Pine did some small jobs for me at my townhouse: they installed a few electrical outlets, added a door in a hallway, soundproofed an entire wall, and did some light painting. They were super fast to respond and schedule, very friendly, and did top-notch work. I've also reached out to them numerous times since then with unrelated questions and they are always really helpful. I cannot recommend Iron & Pine more highly. Our architect recommended them initially, and we were incredibly pleased with the project and results. We worked with Adriene and Darin for over a year to remodel a tudor revival home in NW Seattle. During the course of the remodel, our home was taken down to the studs. The project included: rewiring, replumbing, new furnace/AC, residing, new windows, earthquake retrofit, front entry conversion, full kitchen remodel, basement full finish, half dormer addition, bathroom remodel, skylights, back patio, concrete stairs/drive, wood trim detail, plaster work, painting and more. Darin and Adriene completed a great deal of the work and brought in trusted subcontractors as appropriate. They finished on-time and on-budget. They were personable and transparent with costs/timing along the way. They were an absolutely pleasure to work with. Even a few years later, the quality of their work is lasting and evident. They have great instincts and taste with respect to older homes. I truly believe that this team "restored" our home rather than "renovated" it. They knew how to treat a home from the 1920's and treated it with the care it deserved.

Iron & Pine completed a full renovation of a 100+ year old home over the course of 10 months. The team was compassionate, understanding, and communicative throughout the process. With the age of the home we ran across a number of significant issues. For each problem, they walked us through options and helped us decide best path forward. The quality of their work is outstanding. We highly recommend their services!

We worked with Darin & Adriene on our 2nd floor remodel which involved expanding two bedrooms, adding a dormer and a bathroom with a large shower, as well as roof windows in the 2nd bedroom. This project also included all new windows on the 2nd floor and a new roof. We could not have been happier with the result. Additionally, we had them build a fabulous fence in the front and back yards which includes metal posts clad in cedar with no wood touching the ground - a breakthrough design which adds years of life to our wooden fence. We'd be happy to talk with anyone who are thinking about hiring this amazing team. Their work ethic and values are the highest and it shows in our results.
