We hired Isley Construction to remodel two bathrooms. These were complete remodels, demo down to the studs, moving a wall, etc. Benson submitted a detailed cost estimate and schedule and the project came in right on schedule and below the cost estimate. Throughout the project Benson was extremely communicative. When we had questions he always responded to our texts and calls within a few hours. He was very reliable, showed up when he said he would, and was friendly and patient. His employees and subcontractors were courteous and professional. I highly recommend Isley Construction.

Hired Isley Construction to do a multitude of projects, mainly our kitchen. They did everything as asked and as expected. As you may know, having contractors in your home, it needs to be a relationship of trust and confidence since they are so intimately in your home. They were courteous and always had our trust and confidence even when we had to leave the home periodically to run an errand. The company recently did a major bathroom remodel, a difficult hot tub removal and deck floor replacement. Benson and his team did an excellent job at our house, where he had to rescue us due to impending water damage during a storm. On another project their interior work was perfect, costs were as expected. Each member of the team was professional, efficient, pleasant, and left the job site clean. Highly recommended!

We had both of our bathrooms re-modeled by Benson at Isley Construction LLC and are extremely happy with his work. After moving to Bainbridge we talked to many contractors. We picked Benson for the first job and found him to be very reliable, professional, creative, and easy to work with. He delivered high quality work with great attention to detail at a fair price. For one of the bathrooms he installed penny round tiles and first planned the complete layout and cut everything before setting down the first mat. The result is a virtually perfect spacing with half tiles on all edges. When decisions needed to be made, how to deal with trim boundaries, vent outlets from tile to wall and wainscoting or around doors he was creative in proposing solutions and we are very pleased with the end results. We would use him again for any home improvement job without hesitation.

I can't think of anyone I would more highly recommend than Benson Isley! He did a phenomenal job on our complete tear-out bathroom remodel. He got it done in record time, on budget (which was far better than other bids), and we love the results! Benson is a joy to work with. Designing and building a new home is both exhilarating and terrifying. Ours was much more so because nearly every element of it differed from the norm. Others had told us not to even try but Benson Isley took it on as a challenge. He creatively found solutions to every technical problem, including working with multiple government agencies, using unconventional building materials, and diplomatically working with apprehensive neighbors. It was his creative skill that made the impossible a reality. His skill as a contractor/builder went far beyond our expectations. He assembled a creative team of specialized sub-contractors who brought their collective skills to the construction of our beautiful new home. He inspired them to contribute their own best work. They all seemed so proud of what was accomplished. Erin Isley assisted with every step of the interior details from, paint colors, flooring style, lighting fixtures and tile selection. She spent countless hours searching through the possibilities to narrow our choices. She listened intently while we talked about the various things we like and dislike until she always presented the perfect choices. We reached a point where I just let her "surprise" me because I had come to trust her ideas. It was always thrilling and I was never disappointed. As a team they are unbeatable. We talked with a couple of contractors about remodeling our master bath and associated upgrades to the master bedroom. Benson responded quickly and, after listening to our vision and asking questions to clarify "what" and "how", he came back with a number of ideas about how to achieve the look and practicality we wanted - while saving money. He was respectful of our requests (do not let the cats out!), managed subs professionally, cleaned up at the end of each day - and was always good company. His work is top quality, and now - two years later - we enjoy and appreciate our bathroom and bedroom, and plan to hire Benson again for future home improvements.

The roof on our two-story house had to be replaced because the previous owner installed skylights without permits and the roof was beginning to fail. We found this out when we hired an architect to design a master bathroom on the second floor and he and his engineer pointed the roof failure out to us. So we look at a number of contractors, requested bids and hire Isly Construction. Benson Isley, was the most helpful contractor we have had and that is saying a lot. We have worked on 5 homes over the past 20 years and have hired and fired contractors working for us. Benson and his crew did excellent work in replacing half of our roof, an outside wall and refinishing the inside area that had to be rebuilt, to include two bathrooms. He was on time and keep the costs down. I would hire him again anytime and I have recommended him to our friends in the area, and to our realtor to recommend him to other customers. In addition, his subcontractors were well chosen and did a great job and on time. Everyone that worked for him was very professional, experienced and on time and within budget and that helped us out as homeowners. I cannot stress that enough, it made our lives better and less stressful living through a major repair, because we have lived through many major repairs on homes we have lived in the past.

I rely on Benson of Isley Construction for sound work and a good looking, beautiful result. He has always done things the right way but is creative at resolving unexpected problems (my house is old, nothing is square, flat or straight). When he came to lay new flooring he discovered right off that the subflooring was no longer even. His solution was efficient and kept the unexpected time and expense to a minimum. His creativity is even more evident in the book shelves he built as a solution to an awkward arrangement of three short walls in the living room, The shelves are floor to ceiling and form a continuous run along three wall surfaces. Their clean line unites those surfaces and anchors the room. I have felt comfortable with Benson and his crew members in and around my house, They are careful and concientous of the house, the garden, the pets and the neighbors.
