We were so thrilled with the remodel of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in our home. We made the decision to go with Jay of Jay BOWEN Construction because he is a detail man. His attention to detail as a general contractor was amazing. The tile work in my bathrooms was excellent only because he wanted to make sure it was as perfect as it could be. We had plumbing issues that were solved in a totally professional way. We are so grateful to him for all the extra attention to detail he put into this project and would put forth an excellent recommendation for his work!

J Bowen Construction has completed four home renovation projects on my house in Huntington Beach, CA (kitchen, bedroom, front and side patios, roof). All sub-contractor work was well-planned and coordinated - completion of the projects was on-time. While work areas are by nature messy, at the end of every day Jay had his crew clean up so all work areas were neat and tidy. Jay's pricing was very competitive, his crews showed up on time and he was flexible on modifying the design of a project as needed. I would definitely use J Bowen Construction again!

The Project: completely new kitchen; dining and living rooms refreshed; ceilings repaired, textured, painted; new and/or refreshed doors and window treatments; new LED lighting throughout; electrical redone to code. The above represents a majority of the work. JBowen Const. stayed on schedule, finishing within a few days of the projected 4 weeks. That was amazing! All of the workers, from prep and paint to electrical and cabinetry were very professional and easy to work with. Their work was meticulous overall, paying close attention to finishing details. We are very pleased with the experience, the quality of workmanship, and the end product. We love our new kitchen!

J Bowen really cares about his work. He is honest & trustworthy. My bathroom re-model went very smoothly and as you can see from the photos, it turned out beautifully! We have used Jay on many occassions on exterior and interior jobs around our house. His work has always been fairly priced, and on time. The sub contractors he works with all did quality work. Jay is easy to work with, concerned about doing quality work and making sure we are happy with the results. If there is a problem, he is there to fix it immediately and correctly. We will continue to use him on any future projects around our house.

We wanted to remodel our “stuck in the 80s” home. We had a couple of ideas, but the best we could do was a piece here and there. We decided to hire a contractor to help. After the interviewing process we decided to go with J Bowen Costruction. So glad we made that choice. He helped us design the spaces; integrating modern, coastal, and personal features. He caught our vision immediately and was able to bring us samples and pictures to assist us in keeping the project moving forward. As we are “need to see it” people, this made it so easy. His crew was amazing...clean, timely, and friendly ( and it didn’t hurt that my wife would make cookies and brownies for the team...lol ) There wasn’t one room left untouched...cabinets, flooring, ceilings, lighting, plumbing...even appliances. At the end of the project we were completely satified. We felt that it was affordable, done efficiently, and our home was up to date with the style.
