One other contractor bid on the kitchen renovation before J5 Homes came in to review and bid. Several others viewed but never got back to us. We found they did not want to deal with significant structural work that was required by the City/County. Ava and Agustin are the best in my opinion. We'd had other work done over 15 years of ownership. J5's bid was very attractive, and almost of concern. We wondered if their lower bid meant cutting corners, etc. Not only didn't they do that, Agustin and his crew were meticulous, keeping us informed every step, checking in to be sure we were good with results, had any questions. And they were terrific with recommendations for methods and materials. The crew were highly knowledgeable, very good at their crafts. We'll want J5 Homes to handle any future work for us. In fact we've already hired them to rebuild our back stairway. Ten stars!

The ten week project went underway and we were immediately impressed by how quickly they made progress. Ava was a great project manager and very communicative and Agustin was extremely diligent and thorough. The team worked hard and long hours in some cases. All the inspections were passed with ease and the work continued without a hitch. No project goes without challenges and there were a few minor ones on our project. However, Ava and Agustin put their heads together and came up with thoughtful and elegant solutions to keep the work high end and on track. Both Ava and Agustin showed great taste and would offer their opinion when appropriate. The project finished on schedule and on budget! The craftsmanship was stunning! It was just what we imagined and more. The team was committed to getting everything perfect for us and happy to come back multiple times after we had moved in to fine tune. We can't thank J5 Homes enough for our incredible new home and strongly recommend them!

J5 Homes was hired to complete an approximate 650 square foot addition to our San Leandro home. This included a master suite, kitchen, and breakfast nook. We also did some additional work in other parts of the home, including opening up some walls and new trim work around existing windows. Ava and Augustin did an awesome job from sitting down to discuss the initial bid to building out the timeline to complete the project once the contract was signed. The team accommodated our change requests and did a good job explaining how it may impact the completion of other areas. They also were very diligent on all of the details like ensuring the light fixtures above the island were center and even, or building us their signature stair case to our backyard. It was this attention to detail and workmanship that made us very happy to have them working on our project. The project was completed on time and on budget as we initially discussed. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and I would hire them again for other projects that we may have in the future.

We hired J5 Homes to do a major kitchen remodel. We had decided to remove several walls, and therefore had to re-do plumbing and electrical for most of the space. We also installed a tankless water heater outdoors. Augustin and his team did a great job, showed up on time everyday, cleaned up the area before they left everyday. They were very accommodating with changes that we made along the way, and with unexpected findings. The project was completed right on time and on budget. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied.

The professional staff build a pavilion according to the architectural design in my backyard with fire place, Outdoor BBQ, sink , storage, and stone pavers.
