James L. Fields,llc

We renovated 90 % of our house and use James L Fields, LLC. James was not like an ordinary contractor who showed up periodically to make sure things were on schedule. James was at the house everyday working along side his carpenter. Besides the subcontractors, he and Dan did all of the carpentry work from making railings outside to taking down walls, pulling up tile floors, tearing apart rooms and then artistically putting them back together by making cabinetry, building entrances, framing doors, and hanging crown molding and more. Because James was there getting his hands dirty everyday, he was available to me whenever I wanted. I knew where to find him. He never left me to go to another job until the work was done and he and my architect worked very well together. Another added bonus to this huge undertaking is James and his crew and the subcontractors he used could not have been nicer. It was a joy working with and along side of them on a daily basis. He promised he could have my whole house done in 5 months and he did it! That should be enough said. James is truly an artist in his field and I would use he and his crew time and time again.
