I was referred to JAR to remodel my condo and so glad I used them. JAR is above amazing. They are so professional so reliable. Keep you informed every step of the way and help you after the project is done. I could not recommend any other contractor the way I would recommend JAR. All of the people that I have worked with at JAR our top notch not one is not.

The scope of our project was to make major structural repairs and improvements based on a design provided by a structural engineer. During that project, we elected to expand the scope of work to include replacing our heating system, adding whole-house air conditioning, insulating the house, and replacing antiquated wiring. JAR did an excellent job. We were particularly impressed with their smooth coordination with the trade contractors, effective project management, communication with the homeowner, and overall quality of their work. At the end of the project, JAR completed all final punch list items to our satisfaction.

The JAR team was wonderful to work with. The crew was always timely and extremely professional. Pawel is amazing to work with. I am thrilled with the work they did. It required removing dry rot, replacing muntins, stripping and painting my sunroom windows. In addition the 100 year old wrought iron gate was sanded and repainted and also required some repair work that was seamlessly managed. And as old as it is it now swings open like new. The front door is now beautifully restrained with incredible attention to detail. I highly recommend the JAR group.

Jonathan and his staff are the height of professionalism. They are knowledgeable, They are prefessional and problem solvers. We kept finding suprises and they met the moment. They took excellent care of our home as the project progressed, even when we had to be out of town. Wouldn't do a project without them. The project took a disgusting 70 year old un-finished basement and turned it into a modern multi-use family room. It needed new HVAC, drainage, water, electric...everything and then some.

Not an enjoyable experience. Truthfully, felt disrespected when I thought I did everything right as the customer including always paying promptly. I am left feeling very confused by everything.

We had JAR do the remodel of our condo in downtown Chicago. The remodel work was on a high floor and required coordination with the building staff to ensure timely delivery. It all worked out to plan. JAR was very helpful through the entire process, and the building staff also said that JAR was the easiest contractor they had ever had in the building.

The JAR team was amazing. They worked hard on every detail. They were responsive to all of our requests - inside and outside of the scope of the project. Most importantly, we loved having them in our home. It was a polite, friendly, happy crew!

From the first time I met Jonathan, I knew that I was in good hands. He referred me to a fantastic Designer to start, and once I had my condo approved design, his firm promptly provided me with a detailed bid and scope of work. JAR Corp took the time to answer all my questions and worked with me on any areas of concern. Their back-office support is a well-oiled machine (Emily), and she attended to all the details of the project including tracking all product selection purchases with a high level of accuracy. In addition, she followed up with me and my Designer on all those tasks that required our attention or completion. The onsite project manager, Danny, did a great job managing the project on schedule, and he always kept me well informed of the work being performed from day to day. All the trades people were professional and respectful of my living space. They went out of their way to keep their work space dust contained and always cleaned up at the end of each work day. The quality of the craftsmanship (custom wood shelving/closets, marble tile work, painting/plastering) completed was superb. I live in an old vintage building which posed some unique plumbing challenges. JAR Corp worked with my building engineer to ensure all the work was performed up to code and in accordance with our condominium requirements. I think the true test of a great contractor, is how they handle a situation when things don't go as planned. In each instance, they addressed the problem with me head on and worked until it was resolved to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend JAR Corp. Their work is impeccable and the deep knowledge and expertise they bring to any home improvement project, gave me peace of mind throughout the entire process.

We have worked with Jonathan and his incredible staff at JAR Corp. for 20 years at 2 different homes, but this last project was the easiest yet. We are thrilled with our new laundry room and can't praise them all enough for their professional work ethic! We retained JAR Corp for a major 'down-to-the-studs' remodel of our 6,200 sqf high-rise apartment in Chicago.
