JBR construction has done an exceptional job finishing the downstairs of our home. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is outstanding. We also added a beautiful wood panel ceiling and crown molding to our main living area and it turned out amazing. I also appreciate the honesty and open communication that Jocque provided me. A nice touch he and his team does: they clean up after themselves daily. This was highly appreciated by me while living in the home while being remodeled. I have built four homes and remodeled many other properties and there are few contractors that would pay attention to this. I would highly recommend JBR construction and his team.

Jocques and Jess did a fabulous job on our new home in Napili. We wanted a Hawaiian/plantation style home with large lanais and they truly delivered. The home they built fits in perfectly with the neighborhood. Passers-by, both locals and visitors, still pause to appreciate what was created. Jocques and Jess were always available and kept us closely advised of all issues and the overall progress. They were attentive to our budget and kept costs in perspective. We're really very happy.

JBR is amazing! In my opinion, the most important aspect of a contractor's relationship with a customer is communication and Jocques and Jessica are fantastic at this. They always respond within 24 hours, if even just to say "We've received your concern and we're working on it now". I am in love with our home and the quality is just stunning. I can't stop showing it off! They took every picture/article/website I provided and built the exact home I asked for. They also went above and beyond by making the home live-in ready - when I walked in the final day, all of my TVs were mounted, my art was on the walls, my furniture built, and the place was spotless! Everything was ready except my clothes and belongings - and I'm sure they would have done that too! Since moving in, they've checked in on me regularly and Jocques even stopped by when I somehow got my AC settings confused. I just love JBR and I would recommend them to anyone, but especially homeowners who are looking to build something unique and one-of-a-kind. The project was completed on time and on budget.

JBR Construction is an excellent company to work with and provides a quality product for their clients. We have worked with them on several projects and look forward to assisting them in the future.

I would stay away from Jocques Rupe and JBR Construction. "Lahaina 2" is my house. Project was 7+ months late and way over budget, mainly because he was busy working on 5 other projects. Project was completed in late July 2015 and he no longer answers emails and refuses to come back to warranty the house. Be careful with this guy and always check references!

Jocques and his crew put the finishing touches on my home in August, 2015. When I began my building project, I was looking for a contractor who would work with me as a team member. Jocques and Jessica, his partner offered this. The build had its difficult times, as all do. But throughout, there was always an opportunity for discussion and amendment of the project, if necessary. Some changes needed to be made, not due to Jocques' planning. He offered ideas and support for what needed to be done. His vision helped make my home what it has become--something very lovely. Building on Maui can be difficult. Patience is necessary. Resources are sometimes limited. Jocques and Jessica brought me and my home through all of this and I am extremely happy with the result. If there ever is a problem with warranty issues, he literally is here within hours to address is.
