I had very bad experience hiring this contractor in 2023 for my house sidings, windows and 2 doors replacement.. he asked for deposit, then asked for payment to order the windows. Then another payment when the job started and another payment on 50%completion of the project leaving just a $1000 to be paid on completion of the projects. He ordered his men to remove the old caulks around the windows to be replaced. But then this contractor Dave suddenly disappeared leaving the old windows uncalked.. Strong rain came and rain water seeped through the uncalked windows damaging my walls and ceilings. Calls and emails to him to let him know what’s happening and as to when are they coming to finish the job.. kept saying windows were not available… and months had passed still no new windows and he didn’t even offer help on how to protect our walls and ceilings from further damage.. I had to cover the windows w/ plastics myself. Months passed, I couldn’t wait any longer, I went to the window factory where he ordered the windows and found out the windows been available but this contractor left a balance.. I was upset bec I gave this contractor the money for it!! Also found out he never ordered the doors! To make story short, I ended up paying thousands again for the windows and doors , fortunately we were able to get hold of the person who worked for him to replace the windows, and hired another contractor to replace the two doors and fixed the water damaged ceilings. But this contractor never picked up our calls nor responded to messages and emails.. I spent a lot of money to have the walls fixed but the damaged ceilings remains… Awaiting to get some money back from this contractor to compensate for these damages but to no avail… it breaks my heart because the money I paid him I saved from my disability benefits… I trusted this guy because he’s from the same town where I live.. So to all who needs house contractors, don’t make the big mistake I did trusting this contractor…I will never recommend this business to anyone….
