I hired JM Carpenter LLC for second time!!! I needed a section of 45 year old clear cedar ceiling replaced. The trick was to make the new ceiling match as closely as possible the original ceiling. Juan did an amazing job and I’m thrilled. He is also great to work with and communicates from beginning to end. The price was totally fair for the high quality and timeliness. My husband is a woodworker and advised me that the job was technically done right. (Not that I had any doubts, Juan is honest.) If you want quality and peace of mind I HIGHLY recommend JMCarpenter LLC.

JM Carpenter LLC did an excellent job on all of my projects. The first project the company did was a repair of a door to a bedroom that did not close easily when you pulled it shut. The next project involved repairing a dresser, repairing a fence that blew down in a windstorm, and patching holes in my walls. Currently I have JM Carpenter LLC doing work to repair the siding on my house as well as doing some demolition projects and I am very pleased to recommend this company to anyone looking for a carpenter. The pricing is very generous and the work done is truly world-class carpentry by the best company in the business. The owner of the company is fun to work with and he completes the projects extremely efficiently to ensure the safety and quality of the house. J M Carpenter did a great job replacing some rotten siding on my house. The weather was crappy and the job was small and I think a lot of contractors would have blown me off but JM Carpenter was on it. They did a great job and as the project proceeded they kept showing me the work they were doing which reassured me that it was done right. I will definitely hire this company again in the future.

JM (Juan Marin) Carpenter LLC came out to my farm house in Damascus and built me a set of front porch railings and railings for the stairs as well. He charged me a totally reasonable amount for the work, and the work done was of high quality! I am extremely satisfied with his work and will absolutely use his services again in the near future as I have further work that needs to be done on another one of my properties in the area.

Juan was great to work with on our project. He removed our front porch’s rotted out, 30 year old cedar decking and the underlying support structure where it had also rotted. He then proceeded to replace the stringers and add additional new stringers because we used TimberTech Coastline decking that is more flexible than cedar. He did a beautiful job replacing the decking using a hidden fastener system. The final product is beautiful, stable, and easy to maintain. Juan did all the work quickly, arrived on site as agreed, removed all the debris completely, and did this all for a reasonable price. We could not be happier with the end result and we would gladly call on Juan if needed for future projects. Timely, professional, and affordable - what more can you ask?

Juan's work will exceed all expectations. He is a perfectionist, and makes any project look professionally completed. Juan is lovely to work with, and has an undeniable gift for carpentry. He can also do anything. Recommending him to prospective people who need his skills is the easiest recommend I ever made.

Juan and his crew are on time, professional, efficient, and do great work! Will definitely work with Juan and his team again. They shaved the bottom of a door, did caulking work, installed new baseboards, patched a gap with carpentry work, and applied trim around an entryway to a kitchen.
