We bought a house in December and knew we needed to turn a half bath into a full bath so my mom could spend the night when she visits. We called several contractors and fortunately, we chose Johansen. In our first phone call, John laughed that once you worked with him, you never let him go, and after this project I completely understand. The work was done well and quickly. We have two small children and the workers went to great lengths to keep a safe distance, wore their masks, and we all felt very safe while the work progressed. We were kept in the loop, given good advice, and the end result is a beautiful and glamorous bathroom that my mom really loves. We will absolutely be calling them again!

To say that we needed our garage repaired is an understatement. After years of being on the receiving end of rushing rainwater courtesy of a serious slope, the structure was on a hard lean. Plus there was ivy infiltrating the back wall, roots disrupting the slab, and a tree trunk pushing through the foundation. Yeah. That bad. When John saw it to give an estimate, he didn't run. He fully explained all the ways he could help - including pouring a slab and adding an irrigation system. He quoted a price that was fair. And most importantly, when it came down to it he delivered. Even when an unexpected setback threatened to derail the project, he was on site immediately providing solutions and getting construction back on track - and ahead of schedule. But it doesn't stop there. John was always easy to reach and got back to me right away if I had any questions - although usually he had explained everything to me so thoroughly I didn't need to ask. Plus, he was at my house most days just to make sure his guys were getting the job done right. For him, it was never "just a garage". It was providing the best service possible. This guy knows his stuff. And he's one of the honest contractors out there, which is saying a lot if you've ever had to hunt. But don't just take my word for it.
