John Krause Construction absolutely earned my highest possible recommendation. He's also earned any business for my future needs, and he will earn yours, too. After meeting with countless contractors regarding a deck repair/rebuild, it felt hopeless. No return calls, missed appointments, and when someone did show up it was immediately evident they were intimidated by the size and scope of the job. Some told me they simply couldn't do it. Others wanted to half-ass it. One charming individual from D.C. told me I should have never bought the house. Thankfully a friend who works in real estate recommended I reach out to John. She didn't know him personally, but had heard positive things about him thru her clients. I was immediately impressed by John's professionalism and candor. We discussed different options, and what he thought would be best (he has decades in the business, so I valued his opinion.) I was then introduced to Crissy, who manages accounts for his office. She is nothing short of fantastic and it was always a pleasure speaking with her. She made the financing a breeze and ensured I understood all my options. During the project, there were a few minor discrepancies, which John, Crissy and the rest of the team immediately rectified. For that I am most grateful. When John met me over the summer to discuss options I was skeptical because of how poorly my previous interactions with contractors had gone. However, John looked me in the eye told me he stands by his work, period. I can now tell you he's an absolute man of his word and his team does fantastic work. Dear Mr. krause Your construction company recently built a new composite deck with vinyl railings at my house. What a huge project that completely changed the look of the outside! It is very white and bright. I'm still getting used to it. I want to compliment the two workers Paul and Jason who did the construction. They were both excellent workers. I highly commend and appreciate their workmanship. They were both very thorough. I valued their politeness, work experience, attention to details, safety, and code items, consistent work schedule daily, cleaning up debris, and trying to verify I was satisfied. They kept me well informed about progress. They also corrected any mistakes or changes as best they could and added construction details too. I appreciate their patience as I questioned them. When we bought our home 19 years ago, we had no idea that the deck (we suspect a dyi project) was free standing. Over time the gaps between deck and hone widened allowing moisture and rain water to damage the home and create mold. John Krause Construction fixed the problem by installing flashing that had never been installed and tightened some loose siding. His crew was courteous and professional—they knew what they were doing and finished the job efficiently. The price was reasonable, and the office staff was super friendly and efficient. We did a several projects over the past year. I compared estimates and went with Krause. We did a new roof, new gutters, rebuild the wrap-around porch, new walkway, and several erosion control items - the largest being retaining wall terrace in the back of the house. What we liked the most was the attention to detail and the high-quality standards. They would walk through the project with me and make sure everything was to my satisfaction before declaring it complete. Overall, a very professional experience with total satisfaction. I would highly recommend them to anyone doing similar work on their home.

Shirley does an amazing job in the office, especially with quickly answering all questions. Looking forward to having them do more home improvement projects for me.

Took off our existing deck, added a 22 by 16 enclosed climate controlled room with sunscape windows and a 12x12 deck off the room. So far they have done a great job communication could be a little better but that's understandable in the trade. Surely doesn't excellent job in the office with keeping me informed of everything. Jimmy did a great job designing the room adding four extra large windows on the back side. Excited to see the finished product which will hopefully be done within this next month. We can have a Halloween party in our new room.

I am delighted with the work that John Krause Construction did. We took out an old pool from the back yard and had John Krause Construction rebuild the back deck and level out and landscape the yard. They met the schedule that they promised and were a delight to work with along the way. The yard and deck look great! I am putting the house on the market, and John Krause Construction coordinated power washing and other jobs I needed to get the house ready. I relied on the team and they exceeded my expectations.

John Krause Construction did a wonderful job with my basement. They completed an additional room along with a home theater and bar area. "GREAT JOB" I would recommend them if this type of work need to be completed. I am having them come back to add an outdoor kitchen soon.
