I've work for about 75+ contractors in the past 27 years. Working for a contractor as a sub, you kind of see how he/she runs their business...anything from working with all their subs and employees, to how well organized the job site is, to seeing the quality of the work that goes into the house. Well, I haven't been paid or even asked to give this review. But, Jon rules above them all!! Jon has been the most focused and hands-on contractor of them all. I don't hesitate to recommend Jon Badeaux Construction to anyone who wants an honest contractor to build their dream home.

I have been involved in the design and building of 6 homes. Jon Badeaux is by far and away the most effective and creative builder I have ever worked with. What is most impressive is the manner in which he plans and instructs his workers and subs to get things done not only exceedingly well...but on time. In this instance we had some rare Sequoia lumber and Jon was involved in it preparation and installation throughout the home. He was also helpful in selecting John Hofacre as our architect who did an amazing job of fitting the addition to an existing home into a triangle shaped lot. What was also impressive was the manner in which Jon and his team met all the building requirements which facilitated a very responsive review by the Capitola Planning organization. What also impressed our neighbors was the manner in which Jon and his team kept not only the building site but the surrounding area clean and did not negatively impact our neighbors during construction. It is without reservation that I would recommend Jon to anyone.

This contractor is beyond easy to work with. As supplier, he and his staff of professionals, have the highest integrity. Jenny, in his office, is very knowledgeable and assists his clients though the process of choosing product. His clients have nothing but complimentary things to say about his work. He will take the utmost care; from start to finish. We are very lucky to have our company on his referral list. Jon and I have remodeled 3 houses together since 1998, the first of which was the Bain Avenue project. His overriding goal is always to have a great end result: satisfied clients with a beautifully built home who actually enjoyed the experience of building. His relationships with all of his subcontractors and employees, the entire team, are positive. He seems to know just when to bring in the right amount of levity to a situation that many can find stressful. He is always anticipating, thinking ahead, finding ways to be more efficient or avoid a problem. I can't count the times his clients have sincerely said: "We couldn't have done it without Jon" or "Thank God we chose Jon!".

We have worked with Jon twice in the past seven years on two remodeling projects, and working with Jon and his highly experienced crew was a complete pleasure both times. He finished our projects on time, one was on-budget and the other under-budget, and the results were even better than we had anticipated. Though many are talented, conscientious and hard-working, John stands out as someone who really gives it his all. He has a deep commitment to to each job, his craft and most of all to his clients. He has strong organizational and communication skills. And he has the great ability to keep the job on track through the normal ups and downs of construction while staying calm and focused.
