We had a wonderful experience with Legacy Construction! Our bathroom renovation project had time constraints that Legacy worked with professionally and successfully. The workers were on time, professional, friendly and respectful of our property and our opinions. The end result exceeds all of our expectations. The workers wore masks when they were on site and were conscientious about Covid safety protocol. The communication was great. It was a delight to work with Eric, Billy, and the team!

This review has been a long time coming. We worked with Legacy Construction to update the home we purchased for our relocation from Western Massachusetts to Rhode Island two years ago. After what felt like days of researching contractors, we narrowed our list down to four to bring into our home for estimates and ideas. Legacy was scheduled as our last visit and meeting with them was a breath of fresh air. We were feeling pretty hopeless after a morning of meetings with contractors that we felt weren’t listening to us, telling us our ideas were impossible, or scoffing at our budget. When Legacy came, they listened, asked questions, were thorough and helped us plan renovations within the budget we had. We signed on with them and their work was nothing short of miraculous. We have a 1920s colonial revival that required some significant kitchen renovations, as well as wallpaper removal, fresh coats of paint, and a complete transformation of one bedroom into a master bath. Their design was perfect, and the vendors they connected us to for everything—from tiles to countertops to cabinets to toilets—were extraordinary. Their attention to detail was great, the workmanship was of high quality, their advice came from years of experience and wisdom, and their patience with and consideration of us as we lived in our home while they worked was much appreciated. Legacy took great care of us and helped us to create a home that we love living in. We highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about our recent top to bottom renovation with Legacy. Their workmanship was first rate. They bent over backwards to accommodate our every wish. And though we changed our minds several times, they came through time and time again. It is this singular ability to listen that really impressed us. Not to mention coming in on budget and on time. Not always an easy thing to find these days. It was a tremendous experience and we would go with Legacy again in a heartbeat.

Eric C and his partner, Bill, provided top of the line service, materials, and workmanship. Contractors they brought in ie, electrician, carpenters, plumber, provided excellent service, were respectful, worked diligently. Weekly online status reports were provided by Eric so nothing slipped through the cracks. When a few unforeseen items arose which added to the scope of the initial project, Eric communicated timely and addressed accordingly and still managed to stay on schedule. From the outset, when the construction bids were being reviewed with multiple builders, it became evident none approached the personal involvement and attention to detail exhibited by the Legacy group,The reconstruction — a century old carriage house—was extensive complicated, and subject to the requirements of the town's Historic Commission.. As the project proceeded —and it proved to be as complex as forecast—it became obvious we made the right choice. The Legacy team exceeded all our expectations. I used Legacy for a second floor addition. I had gotten several quotes for this job, and they were a little higher than some, but the quote was very detailed and addressed things that other one page quotes didn't. The quote was the price and not an estimate based off square footage like others I spoke to, and the quote was accurate to the job. Their speed was amazing. Start to finish in about 2 months. The house looks great and they had really good suggestions throughout the process. They were very neat and clean. Very easy company to work with and everyone who worked in the house was polite and trustworthy. This is a large company and they were always working. There were not days of sitting waiting for a sub contractor or dealing with a smaller company working several jobs at a time. People were working constantly and it was exciting every day for 2 month to see the changes. I highly recommend giving Legacy a shot! Steve

We were very pleased with their work. Contracted with them to repair basement and hardwood floors damaged by water. Also installed a deck. They lived up to their commitments and were took care of the little things. We will not hesitate to use them again.

Days after we purchased our home, we experience a fire. Approximately 30% of the structure burned down and remaining house had to be completely gutted. We hired Legacy to complete the entire project, which included demo of the damaged house, replace foundation, reconstruct the portion of the house that burned, and remodel/reconstruct the entire house. The project last from January to August. Brad & Eric were great to work with, along with the rest of their crew. The workmanship is very high quality. Legacy was very responsive to all our requests and finished the project on schedule and budget. We would and have recommended to others.

I am so very happy with my new beautifully remodeled kitchen crafted by the talented hands of Nick and Ben. They were so very organized, clean, dependable, professional, polite, and very caring young men. Starting with Bill who created an affordable budget to Donna at Douglas Lumber who kept me in budget with my new cream beautiful cabinets to Marie at Romancing the Stone who knew exactly how to match my subway tile to cabinets and my existing floor tiles. Legacy Construction has far exceeded our expectations. I always heard horror stories from other people regarding their home projects but from the first call it was nothing short of great. They responded to my e-mail with a phone call within an hour and were able to meet next day to discuss the project. We had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom added to the existing open space on the second floor of our home. Bill and Eric had great suggestions of how to best utilize the space and we now have a master bedroom and walk-in closet, a fantastic room for our new baby, and a much needed second bathroom. We always felt listened to and any time we had a concern or question it would be answered quickly and any issues we had would be resolved immediately. Big plus - they stayed right on the estimated time schedule as well! We plan on using Legacy Construction again for future projects.

When I signed a contract with Legacy Construction to completely redo our kitchen and master bathroom, what I was most anxious about was quality, staying within the budget and finishing on time. Being pleased with the final result, especially with the aesthetics, was most important to my wife. For both of us Legacy hit all the targets and surprised us with what a great job they did. They managed their subs well; they worked around unexpected difficulties (our house was built in the 1940s), they were always prompt and responsive to our questions and concerns, and they left their work areas clean. They were highly recommended to us by our daughter and her husband. We, in turn, highly recommend them to anyone looking for first-class renovation work on their house.

I had the privilege of Legacy Construction renovate my kitchen. The entire crew was amazing to work with! Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was top notch! The transformation of my kitchen is breathtaking and a dream come true! The entire renovation went smoothly as every member of the Legacy crew is professional, neat and friendly. This past April I had my kitchen remodeled by Legacy Construction. I selected Legacy after receiving two very favorable reviews (one from my daughter). Eric and his team came to my house and we worked out a plan to remove the wall between the kitchen and dinning room as well as the ceilings. We the did a kitchen layout and selected two of his recommended vendors Douglas Lumber for the cabinets and Romancing the Stone for the counter tops. I was very happy with both their work. I can't say enough about all contractors who came in and did a great job from the quality of the finish work to the cleanup at the end of the day! The communication between Eric and his team with me was outstanding, I was always notified of the next step in advance and they always returned my calls promptly. Having a major job like this done in your home while your living in it is never easy but the outcome was well worth it!

Legacy did not cover the steam pipe in the bathroom with a box or escutcheon plate. (We hadn't lived in the house before the renovation, so we had not thought about this pipe, which had been covered with a vanity installed by a prior owner.) When the tile man came, he said that it was "unacceptable" that Legacy left him to do the tilling of the wall without informing him about the steam pipe. The tile man had to work around the steam pipe. This picture shows the way Legacy finished the tile work in the bathroom they renovated for us.

Legacy Construction designed and created an incredible tree house for our boys - the owners and their crew gave such attention to detail every step of the way and took great pride in their work. We are all so happy with the finished product-thank you! Additionally-Eric and his team went above and beyond when they arrived at our home on start day dressed as Santa's Helpers (the treehouse was an early Christmas gift from Santa himself)!! Thank you again for helping to make such a beautiful memory for our children.

We have worked with Eric and Legacy on a number of occasions, including a new roof, and later a major renovation after a hurricane dropped a tree through our house. Our last project was a full bathroom renovation and we can't be happier. The guys were professional and were very conscientious, particularly because we were living in the house for part of the renovation. Eric and Brad's expertise started the project off well and their design ideas were very helpful. The project came in on budget too! Billy was a pleasure to work with and he truly seemed to watch out for our best interests throughout the time they were here. Chris was terrific too, staying in contact by phone and email and making sure we never felt out of the loop. His attention to detail and commitment to getting answers to any questions we had throughout the process was exceptional. We had a fantastic experience working with Legacy Construction and enthusiastically recommend them for any construction job. From designing our major home renovation to securing permits and delivering quality and thoughtful carpentry and subcontractors, Legacy was exceptional. In particular, Eric and Brad were great to work throughout the design phase and Billy led the team that delivered quality workmanship throughout the project and delivered a superb final product --- on time and on budget. We had heard so many horror stories from friends who built new homes or had major renovations with other contractors, but our experience was actually pleasant and very enjoyable because of the partnership, creativity, and the clear and open communication we had with Legacy throughout the project.

We hired Legacy to totally redo our kitchen after interviewing 3 qualified, highly recommended local GC's. We liked their straight talk, creative problem solving and "can do" attitude. The work started on time, the communication was a bit choppy at first but smoothed out considerably as Legacy brought on a scheduling co-ordinator. The workmanship of each of the sub-contractors was excellent; all of Legacy's suppliers were top notch and Legacy themselves were responsive and flexible throughout this complex project. We are delighted with our new kitchen. We have hired them for other projects and would recommend Legacy without reservation to others.

Brad and Eric met us at our new home in Narragansett the day of the closing, during a snowstorm no less, to discuss renovations. They brainstormed with us ideas to modernize the house while opening up the floor plan to capture a beautiful view of Narragansett Bay and the Newport Bridge. The timeline was incredibly tight as we planned to move in mid-June. Within a month plans were drawn, permits were obtained and the project began. The first floor was being brought down to the studs as the entire space was being reconfigured. At the same time the second floor was freshened up while the exterior was resided and an outdoor shower added. Of course with any project of this size there will be some hiccups in the process, and Eric and his team handled them quickly and expertly. Their many years of experience in the business provided an exceptional outcome. We were thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and responsiveness that Legacy exhibited throughout the entire project. We were hesitant to take this project on based upon past renovation experiences but we definitely made the right choice when we hired Legacy. Legacy was true to their motto, on time and on budget, and created a magnificent home for our family. We could not be happier.

We needed a new roof, and are very pleased with the result. First of all, when we called for an initial consultation, the call was returned promptly; estimates were given promptly, and payments were structured in a reasonable manner. The Legacy team was great. Professional, timely, friendly and talented. They really transformed our old outdated kitchen and living room into a beautiful space. We had new tile floors, cabinets, granite counter tops, and a new island installed in the kitchen as well as more modern lighting. They helped come up with great ideas for making awkward space useful, including removing an angle pantry and replacing it with a wall hung cabinet with a desk under it. They removed an old sliding door in the living room and aded a big window making the space more useful and bigger. What usually takes 4-5 weeks was completed in 2.5 weeks. They worked hard and efficiently, The key was organizing the teams for different jobs and getting all the materials. No Delays. They did such a good job that our neighbors signed them up to do theirs a couple of weeks later. And there kitchen looks great too.

My husband and I met with Eric and Brad from Legacy after meeting with several other contractors to build our new home. They were very responsive from the start and met with us on our land the day after I first emailed Eric. Responsiveness was extremely important to us in finding a home builder. We found that to be lacking in other builders that we met with. Within a few days of our first meeting, we had a proposal from them and ultimately decided they were the right builders for us. We even broke ground the day after the construction loan was signed.. Everything moved along very fast and they even worked on our home throughout a terrible winter season ! With the guidance of Brent, Eric and Brad, we even stayed relatively close to budget! Our home came out absolutely beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Al is an amazing craftsman and built us a beautiful fireplace mantle, mud room storage area and custom master closet shelving. The entire team helped make the whole process painless and we are so happy we chose them!

My husband and I used Legacy Construction this past year to demolish and re-build a new garage. Mr. Eric Costantino is a very knowledgeable and experienced contractor. He helped us with all aspects of the construction from insurance claim, preplanning and design, and construction and finishing. He is a consummate professional, and skilled in his work. Being overwhelmed with contractor choices, we put our faith in houzz and after reading reviews and looking at photos, we took a shot and went with Legacy Construction RI. We wanted a general contracting company with experience handling insurance claims because of damage from water infiltration, due to ice damming . Eric Constantino came out to meet with adjusters on several occasions before even knowing if we would hire legacy. He was spot on with the scope of the work and took time to explain how best to move forward to make repairs. He is an excellent communicator and a very kind person. We felt in great hands at a dificult time in our busy lives and we weren't disappointed. Brent Narkowitz took command on the demo and construction and we were very impressed with his organization and communication on all matters of the project to complete everything in our expected time frame. This included scheduling demo of all outside walls, Insulation, some structural work, sheet rock, plastering, tile work, carpets, trim work and installing a large picture window....oh and plumbing too. The in house construction professionals did excellent work and communicated with me all the time. Al and Tim are true craftsman, knowledgable and precise. The outside contractors they use are excellent as well. Brent was sure to keep them meshed into the project at the appropriate time to keep the whole job on time. We hired Eric, Brent and the rest of Legacy after our home was damaged from the ice dams over the winter. It was a large insurance claim that had a lot of moving parts. From the start, Eric was professional, on time (early actually) and very thorough. He helped us deal with the insurance company, adjusters and bank which was a HUGE help. Throughout the remodel, everyone involved whether it was the demo guys, painters, tile, odds-and-ends or office staff, were professional and polite. When issues came up, they were dealt with in a timely and accurate manner. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms never looked better! Without hesitation, we would recommend Legacy to anyone, including family, that needs remodeling work done. As a matter of fact, we will be hiring them for more projects in the future. Having Legacy Construction Services remodel our kitchen and bathroom was the best decision we could have made. I know sometimes people are on the fence with going through a remodel, but it doesn't always turn out like some of the nightmare HGTV segments. If I had to sum up our experience with Legacy in three words, those words would be: Timely, Quality, and Professional. They gave us a timeline of three weeks for our kitchen and bathroom remodel. We had a 50 foot pine tree fall on our house last winter, piercing a hole in our roof. Legacy Construction came out immediatley to remove the tree from our house, then returned promptly to completely re-roof the house and repair the hole in our ceiling.
