Shane Loranger was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, thorough, and great with communication. He did a major remodel/update of our 4 bdrm/2 bath vacation home in the Mill Creek Summer Homes development. It was originally built in the late 1950’s and had never been updated. A complete gut to the studs, remodeling and a new deck. What a transformation Shane achieved!! We now have a solid, beautifully,high quality, safe and comfortable place to enjoy for generations to come. We HIGHLY recommend Shane and Loranger Construction.

Shane did a wonderful job remodeling our balcony and deck. But the exquisite work he did on our front stairs, sets our house apart. He was able to match the original radial design done in wood, with a composite product. It looks magnificent!

Shane turned our tiny ugly kitchen into a dream. Our home was built in 1969 and I don’t think it was ever updated. Shane helped us break our kitchen expansion and home remodel project into phases that would work within our budget and also not cause rework or extra expense. Phase 1 of our project was to add a moisture barrier and new siding to the outside of our home and to expand and remodel the existing kitchen. We started late in the year so the weather kept us from getting the outside pained yet as soon as we do I’ll add another post because the new siding is beautiful just like our new kitchen. You’ll notice in the pictures we have not done the floors in our kitchen yet, that’s because we still have more remodel to do inside the house and the floors will be the very last thing that is done. Shane’s work is amazing!!! This was my first experience with any type of construction and it was important to me that the contractor we worked with would answer my questions and not just go straight to my husband or not get back to me. Shane made things easy for me, he answered all my questions, always got back to me and was just easy to work with. We are looking forward to working with Shane on the remaining Phases of our remodel.

Shane is an excellent contractor. We have used him twice. We did a complete gut and remodel on our home, Shane did an amazing job and the end result was even better than our expectations. Our second project was a new front porch, complete with new entry and accent siding around our house. I cannot tell you the compliments we get on our home and how the transformation has taken it from the old tires 1960’s home to the beautiful dream home we have today.

Shane built our dream Lake Almanor home. He along with his son Rocklin and helper John did a great job . I wanted a contractor that self performed the frame and finish and it was not the easiest build and it came out great . Shane is a true craftsman .

Shane Loranger was our General Contractor while building our lake home. He was a pleasure to work with. Two things that stood out to us were his communication skills and his attention to detail. Shane is very collaborative, listens to ideas and cares to get things right. If we have last minute changes or if he finds problems on the job site, he works to address quickly so we can make adjustments and he can meet schedule. We appreciate his excellent workmanship, collaborative style and honesty. We are grateful we worked with Shane and very happy with our dream lake home.

We hired Shane Loranger to do a major home remodel which included a redesigned front exterior, a new master bedroom and bathroom, wet bar, roof, deck and many other interior alterations. In addition, we had electrical work, plumbing, tile work and painting done. We had never taken on a project this size before. We clearly chose the right contractor! Shane not only did a wonderful job, but he was easy to work with too. He is a good listener, honest, patient and flexible. He took his time to explain things and didn’t cut corners. He communicated well and responded to calls, emails and texts promptly. It was important to Shane that our changes looked natural and not like additions. He really wanted us to be happy with his work and the end result is that we DEFINITELY are! Shane is the kind of contractor that you want to remain friends with long after the job is complete. We feel lucky that we found Shane and highly recommend him to anyone considering a home project or remodel.

We needed to remodel old bathrooms and do something with a washer & dryer that was in the hallway and a real eye sore. I had 0 experience building or remodeling. Choosing Shane Loranger Construction was the best thing we could have done. He was patient and calm while dealing with my lack of knowledge and experience in the construction world as well as full of ideas and suggestions. We ended up with two beautiful bathrooms with walk-in showers and an incredible, spacious bedroom with french doors leading out to a porch. The best part of the remodel that truly shows Shane's unique ability to problem solve was the laundry room. He designed and built a sliding Barn door for the room to give us even more usable space !!!! We highly recommend Loranger Construction for any building needs.

Shane was our general contractor and builder for our house in Lake Almanor. Shane was extremely professional, hardworking, honest, and comepetent, yet personable throughout the whole process. He helped us build our dream house on the lake, and we love how everything came together. We highly recommend Shane!!
