Drew, Rich, Dale, and their team have been a joy to work with. We bought our dream home on the Leland River in 2015, and they have helped us reimagine and refurbish the existing home. Last year, we built a wonderful new guest house. They are competent, transparent, and responsive through every design and construction phase. They work with a reliable and trustworthy set of contractors who all do quality work. We have been very happy and satisfied with the results of every project. They are just good people. Highly recommended!

I can not say enough enough positive things about our experience working with Maple Hill Builders. They are extremely professional, quick to respond, and easy to communicate with AND their work is exceptional. Their attention to detail is so great - the finishing touches were spot on, their ability to capture the aesthetic we were looking for was amazing. After interviewing several different builders in Suttons Bay we decided to hire Maple Hill Builders for our project and we have been very happy that we did. Our project was the finish of the basement level in our home built in '94 - not a huge project for Maple Hill, but they treated us like like we were having a new home built. Drew and his team were punctual, gave us a clear and detailed bid, were respectful to our family during work days, gave us many good options and design ideas, and communicated very well during the project. Not only was the job completed on schedule it actually came in under budget. The end result is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Out of the bids we received, Maple Hill was not the lowest, but we feel that we have an outstanding finish to our project. We are out of town owners and had to place a lot of trust in Maple Hill and we were never disappointed. The project was completed on time and on budget and we were thrilled with the final result. Every sub-contractor was easy to work with and delivered quality work. Drew and his project manager Eric communicated well with us throughout the 6 month project. They offered many creative suggestions to enhance the renovation. The interior finishes and attention to detail were above and beyond our expectations. My wife and I worked with Steve, Drew, Calvin, the whole MHB team and all of their amazing subs for over two years in the planning of our new summer beach house in Northport, MI and the building of it in 9 months. MHB completed the house two weeks early and on budget. We moved in this past June and spent the summer in our gorgeous new home on Grand Traverse Bay. We probably spoke or communicated with Steve nearly every day for those three years, We could not be more pleased! We love our “forever home!” Out of a vacant lot, Maple Hill Builders (MHB) took our vision and the architectural blueprints, and brought them to life through their experience, professionalism, and care. And, we cannot say enough about the wonderful quality and craftsmanship of the Maple Hill crew and the sub-contractors that physically built our home. After meeting with several area builders, we selected Drew and Steve Schaub of Maple Hill because it was very important to us to not only find a builder who constructed beautiful and well-built homes, but could also guide us through the process from several hundred miles away. Most importantly, we needed to feel a connection with our builder – we believe that we got that, and more. We really appreciated the high level of coordination and communication during site visits, telephone calls, emails, texts, and pictures with Drew and project manager Ryan (we call him “our” project manager) so that we got the home that we envisioned. In addition to completing our home in 2017, we have had Maple Hill come back and build our home gym and wine and beer cellar in 2018, and, they are currently building our barn (2019) with Eric as “our” project manager. Again, the Maple Hill crews’ level of craftsmanship and dedication to quality remains consistent across all of our projects. We now consider Drew and Steve family friends, and we do and will continue to recommend them as a builder.
