We would like to offer clarification that the initial budget of $48k was presented as part of an initial "Opinion of Probable Cost" not a firm price. The final price of $69k was determined once we had walked with the client through the full Design and Development Process and she had made all final selections based on her wants and desires. The price could have been less, but not for what she wanted. The final price was presented in a detailed, formal Construction Agreement BEFORE construction work began so there should have been no surprises.

In relation to the owner's son, yes, he had graduated from High School the year before and wanted to work a year before college. He was working full time, and was a helper on the project--just as qualified as any other helper would be. He was not left unsupervised to do any of the work by himself.

And yes, we do use sub-contractors from time to time but do our best to ensure that their workmanship is above industry standards. Nevertheless, some feel that no one does it quite as good as the owner of the company, and there are many homeowners who want the owner to be present and do all of the work himself. But, needless to say, he can't be everywhere at all times while managing a growing Professional Remodeling company.

In the final analysis, both bathrooms and the kitchen turned out absolutely gorgeous and the client was very happy as evidenced by her statement that she would absolutely hire us again. We hope you won't let this review deter you from calling us.
