They were careful with our home and left the job site very clean. They were helpful in showing us how to operate the tilt windows and care for them. We would highly recommend Matera Builders!

Highly recommend. Had several windows repaired so not a huge job which can be harder to get service than a big job. Everyone at Matera courteous, competent and attentive to our problem. Kris and Michael showed up on time and in short order had the repairs don. Well done!

We ordered a new window from Matera builders and could not have been more satisfied with their work. The window was delivered on time, which was a great comfort as we traveled from out to state to New Jersey to start our renovations. James and Justin did the install, updated us as they worked on the window and left the room looking much better with the new window. We would definitely would use Matera Builders again. We recently had Matera builders out to install a 6 foot Anderson slider window in our home here in Ocean City, NJ. The workers arrived on time and introduced themselves to me and my wife. ( Al James ) They proceeded to go to work and had the door installed in one day. They had put tarps down and when they were finished the place was as clean as it was before the started working. They came back the next day, again on time and when they said they would be there and did some finishing on the door and also then proceeded to work on the bathroom to raise our vanity and shelves. Once again the job was completed professionally and when they were finished the place was clean as it was before. I recommend Matera Builders to everyone who Wants a good professional job done , and done correctly.

Matera Builders sent Al, Jeff and Jerome to my home to install a new front entry door. They were on time, professional and did high quality work. After installation they made sure everything was operating properly and cleaned the work area to its original state. I will always give them first chance at any home improvement job I may need.

I have used Matera builders before when I need a new entry door and for large sized "half-moon" windows. My last half moon window, which dates back 30 when my home was originally build, failed when the hermetic seal between the two panes of glass cracked and the window would fog up and condensation would occur leaving water dripping down betweeen the two panes of glass. My property has no protection from the ocean and related storms, hurricanes and wind-driven rain so I wanted to be sure I got a good product and have it installed by a good contractor. I used Materal twice before when other half-moon windows failed and I used them again when my most recent half moon window failed and need to be replaced. Rich and James were the ones who installed my new window and they were great. They showed up on time, were dressed appropriately and showed great respect for my property both inside and outside. They laid out drop cloths everywhere, worked the entire day and did a really good job with clean-up inside my home as well as on the outside. Living at the beach is nice but there are drawback which include wind driven rain as well as hurricanes so I wanted to hire a good contractor who is well versed on "shore living" and when Matera installs windows the go the extra mile to ensure thy don't leak as we all know the shore environment can be very unforgiving. I went with an Anderson widow and Matera is an authorized installer of Anderson products so I felt very comfortable in what i was buying and from whom. Both Rich and James did a really good job for me and I'm a happy camper and have ZERO complaints!! I would gladly use them again if I had a need for more replacement windows. When I scheduled this job I drove to Matera's location in Ocean City, NJ and the office staff was very friendly and helpful so I have no complaints about their home office either. Graig

I have Andersen casement windows and one of the windows that I was lubricating was stiff and wouldn't close and lock. Kris Shockley came to our house and fixed the problem quickly and professionally. One of the most professional companies at the Shore that I ever worked with. I highly recommend this company and Kris.

The job was replacing a door system on an older coastal home. The best compliment I can give is that these guys really know what they are doing. The quality of the company was exhibited in the upfront shopping process, the onsite consultation and estimate, scheduling, and communication. Attention to detail and craftsmanship very good.
