Nick did work for me in 2010 & I recently had an issue with a window he installed (thru no fault of his own, it’s a manufacturing issue) but he’s still willing to help me fix the problem.

Nick completed a total renovation of my home in Lincoln Park, NJ. Being in the construction industry myself, let me say he was one of the most Professional, knowledgeable, honest, people I have encountered. We had a tough schedule to complete this work and Nick, along with his guys, worked hard, neat, clean, professional, and were masters at their skills. Along with great craftsmanship and professional service, Nick also worked very hard to keep us within our budget. Quite a few times showing us how to get the "upper end" look with a "lower end" budget. We get great joy for our home now and all I can do is Tip My Hat to You Nick! Thank you so much for everything and i look forward to having you perform more work on my home.

MCA Home Services and Nick Altieri are wonderful. Nick is always easy to get in touch with, has a wonderful eye for design. MCA first did a master bathroom for me and we loved them so much they built a huge 2 story Trex Deck in the height of the summer. It is definitely two of the best decisions we ever made. We get the greatest compliments on the work from MCA. You will love Nick and his crew for sure!

MCA was the best choice we could have made for our renovation. They are very reliable and work with you as far as design, pricing and materials. We needed to renovate our home due to a tree falling through our home. MCA was on site right after it happened and secured the house immediately. They removed all debris and started the rebuild process as soon as we were ready. Their work is high quality and they make your home the way you want it at a fair price. Our project was done by the completion date Nick had given us when we signed the contract. Nick is very easy to deal with and the people he has working for him are as well.

Nick and his team were great. Quality work, finished on schedule and at a fair price. And all the guys were so nice and respectful to my elderly mom who was in the house while work was being done. What else can you ask for? Highly recommended.

Have been working with MCA Home Services and the owner, Nick, for about 7+years now. What we truly appreciate is that Nick will not only bring competitive costs to the projects but he also provides drawings and design elements that are different, clever and beautiful! MCA Home Services did a great job completely remodeling our kitchen. Nick Alteri, the owner, was very responsive and timely in his interactions with us. He gave us a very accurate estimate, tracked via a spreadsheet, and joined us when meeting with various vendors to pick out everything from tiles, cabinets, sinks, and counter tops. We didn't get appliances replaced, but he would have probably joined us then if we did. His team was also very professional and courteous. The job required taking out a wall and installing an island. Nick made sure we had a make shift island set up so we could still have a working sink and he ensured no dust and debris would make its way into adjacent rooms. We really appreciated this as any disruption in the house with a 4 year old running around can be more chaotic than usual. I should also note that MCA Home Services has done a number of other jobs for us - prior to the kitchen, he renovated our master bath and updated a fireplace in our living room. After the kitchen, he also replaced some lighting in our family room and installed dimmable LEDs. Needless to say, we will turn to them again when we want some work done in our home.

We recently completed a major design and build project in our 2500 square foot home using MCA Home Services LLC, and we must say we are extremely satisfied with the results. We had a pretty good idea what we wanted to achieve when we started the project, but had no idea how much better it would turn out, due to the efforts of the team at MCA Home Services, LLC.

I recently used Nick from MCA custom homes on my two family home in Waldwick. The workmanship was excellent and they showed up for work everyday on time when they said they where coming. They remodeled four bathrooms and two kitchens from floors to ceiling. I highly recommend MCA for your next project.

If I could give NEGATIVE five stars review, I would. Nick is a very charming and promises a lot, but he does not supervise the work of his employees. We have given MCA over $65,000 and NOTHING that his workers have started have been completed. We have encountered the following problems: 1. Work is not completed as promised, delays always have an excuse, but Nick will tell us about all of the other “high end” jobs he is working on. 2. Refinished floors were not covered when appliances were installed - floors were damaged with dents and abrasions - Nick said “I’ll fix it” - he never did. 3. Plumbing under kitchen sink was not properly done - a fitting “popped” off and flooded the floor. Nick’s employee did not reinstall the dishwasher properly (we had to move it to clean up the water), so it tilts everytime I open the door 4. The connection for the propane for the new stove was installed with THE WRONG FITTING. I was sick for a month with dizziness and fainting because there was a constant propane leak. I had it repaired by our propane company. When we told Nick, all he said was “I thought we shouldn’t have installed the stove” --- no apology or inquiry into how I (Karen) was feeling. 5. Windows and a front door were installed - OCTOBER 2017 - but crevices were not filled - no finishing trim - and no caulking. We have insect and rodent issues and had to hire a pesticide company to address the problem. 6. When bathroom tile was installed, Nick finally covered the floors leading to the bathroom, but his worker still managed to gouge it. The worker never returned to remove the covering which remained on the floors for over two weeks because we thought he would come back to finish. We ended removing it, figuring - once again - the job would not be completed. The finish came off the floors (of course). That was three weeks ago. We called Nick immediately and he said, as usual, “we’ll fix it” - that never happened. That was three weeks ago. 7. We have a pile of rubble that was supposed to be removed last October... it is still sitting at the end of our driveway and has been added to because MCA does not take away any garbage from ANY of the jobs they do at our house. It is a home to chipmunks and mice. 8. Vents out of the roof for the new bathroom fan and kitchen vent have not been connected, nor has the roof been repaired where the pipes have been installed. 9. A large wall was started - but never finished - after we gave MCA another $10,000 - this was three weeks ago. 10. We had brick work done by one of Nick’s subcontractors that looks like a 5-year-old did it.... and we have to live with it unless we have the whole thing torn out and redone. 11. Our deck, which is beautiful, was done by subcontractors and completed on June 21. However, there are no railings. As of July 20th, they were not even ordered yet. 12. Cement landings for the deck are not installed either, so we can’t walk down the deck stairs. Not to mention that almost everything that Nick’s workers do need to be redone because Nick does not supervise his jobs (at least not ours). 13. Tile work in the kitchen came out very nice, but I had to personally clean the glaze off the tiles and seal the grout. There was also lots of grit left in the brand new kitchen sink, which I had to clean out. 14. Nick’s painter washed paint brushes in our basement sink and destroyed out septic tank - the sink was full of paint sludge when we got home and the septic no longer drains. Nick’s response was “they are not supposed to use the homeowner’s sinks to rinse paint.” 15. Electric wires are coming out of the walls of the house over the deck. We've had the light fixtures for six weeks, they have not been installed yet (supposed to be done last weekend) but no one showed up and Nick didn't even offer us an excuse or call us this time. We were told the deck installers were supposed to do it? The deck installers? REALLY? Some pictures are attached - there are many more. DO NOT HIRE MCA - YOU WILL REGRET IT

Nick and his team renovated a full bathroom in my 1893 home. He is trustworthy, talented, creative, fair and friendly. He is committed to getting every detail right - he is the old fashioned business guy you've been searching for, but having a hard time finding! Run, don't walk to hire Nick!

Nick and his crew renovated my whole first floor (While we lived in the house) and they very professional and got the job done on time! The work was quality and Nick has come back over the last year to fix little things we wanted adjust. We did a full kitchen remodel, crown moulding, new wood floors and refinished floors throughout kitchen, dining room and living room, new windows, remodel of the bathroom, converted the garage back into a garage, new doors on whole first floor, new siding, new furnace and remodel of our master bath. They were our middle estimate and came recommended.

MCA tore out and replaced our front stairs. We chose to use Trex and Nick did a fantastic job. It completely changed the look of our house. They paid attention to detail, with joints and edges coming together nicely. We are still happy with the way it looks!

Nick shows up and gets the job done on time and on budget. He and his crew are friendly, reliable and trustworthy.
