We bought a home in McNaughton's Lakeside Pointe subdivision Burr Ridge,Ill daily do to their reputation in southwest suburbs as a quality high end builder. The development was advertised as "maintenance free" and consisted of mostly small 2 bedroom ranch styled homes. Most of our residents are empty nesters who downsized from larger homes. The overall quality of the construction is OK with the exception with their choice of windows which are cheap and not air tight allowing cold winter air to blow thru and cause condensation to freeze. We complained and they had their supplier come out and inspect resulting in replacement of half the windows that still allow cold winters air to come thru. The main problem is with their maintenance free advertisement and the fact that they chose to continue managing the development after fully built out never turning it over to the residents. They hired their buddies Beary Landscaping {"Barely" which has been horrible. Stay away from these companies they don't deliver what the documents profess especially re snow removal which is hazardous and dangerous for our residents many of which are seniors. Complaints go unanswered. We're very disappointed and disgusted with the lack of service and transparency. Would never recommend McNaughton Development based on our experience at Lakeside Pointe!

Paul McNaughton and his staff our outstanding, they can't do enough for you! Great experience purchasing one of their homes they built. We love living in it and would recommend them to everyone we know.

My wife and I had McNaughton build us a new home in La Grange Park. From working with them in their office early in the "deal", to consulting many times with their great architect., to digging the hole to final nail in the last shingle, it was a much. much better experience than I thought you could ever had. I'm not going to lie and say there were no hiccups, there were a few as with any new home. They were resolved in a very expeditious manner and very fairly. We have a premium home, elevator and all built by a very premium company. Paul Sr. only had to get involved one time and the "issue" was fixed immediately. The quality of their work was impeccable. I would recommend McNaughton Development and the McNaughton "whole family" to anyone building a home.
