We have used MGE Construction for three extensive home remodeling projects, and we wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Mike embodies all of the important characteristics you would want in a remodeling contractor: quality workmanship, well-connected to skilled and reputable sub-contractors, hard-working, and savvy. Mike has consistently been upfront and accurate about budgeted project costs. Additionally, Mike advocates for the homeowner, ensuring that all project work done by subcontractors is done properly and up to high standards.. Lastly, Mike has never once "flaked-out" or gone AWOL for extended periods. He always pays a healthy amount of attention to your project. We strongly recommend MGE Construction.

Mike was great to work with. He has a eye for detail and I still find little touches that show he cares about all the little things. Each of the sub contractors expressed how much they prefer working with Mike as he cares and does things right. It was a complex job including spay foam, plumbing. electrical work to an awesome theater room. I am very happy with how everything turned out and look forward to working with Mike in the future.

Mike and his crew were great to work with. I interviewed 3 other contractors prior to agreeing to have MGE Construction remodel 2 bathrooms and replace my kitchen floor. He was excellent at: 1) communicating timing, needs, and changes, 2) keeping my house clean and livable while the remodel was in process, and 3) finishing the job on time and on budget. When I consider remodeling my kitchen in the years to come, I'll be calling Mike at MGE!

Mike did an excellent job remodeling my kitchen! He kept me well informed about what was going to happen and when from the estimate to the final brush stroke. Because of his vast remodeling experience he had many helpful suggestions concerning every aspect of the remodel and made the process as painless as possible. We have always been been completely satisfied with Mike's work on any of the projects he has done for us and highly recommend him. He meets with you to go over what you are wanting done and then sends a written estimate. Once you select him he comes back to make sure he has the correct measurements. He also communicates with you as to when he is planning on starting the project. Every day when he leaves the area is cleaned up.

I hired MGE Construction to do two huge remodeling jobs, one in 2015 and the other last spring. I can't say enough about Mike the owner. He and his crew did a beautiful job. Mike was on site every day, working along side his guys. Mike is a true professional; courteous friendly, good communicator. From the beginning of each project, he explained clearly what to expect. We hired MGE to add a bathroom to the basement, including trenching for plumbing. We were so happy with his work that we hired him to remodel two additional bathrooms, including the master bathroom. All of this work covered a span of about 5 months. The owner, Mike, demonstrated his knowledge, attention to detail, and helpfulness during our initial meeting and those qualities carried through all three projects. Mike is extremely "customer satisfaction" focused. The sub-contractors he works with are high quality professionals. Mike closely coordinated all aspects of the project(s) and provided valuable consulting regarding all decisions and issues. We will hire him for any future projects.

Mike went the extra mile to do our kitchen remodel right. We had some structural issues related to a previous owner's DIY project which required more problem solving than the average kitchen remodel. Mike was an amazingly clear communicator of timing, options and what to expect at each stage of the project. He has even sent back his painter to touch up some caulk that shrunk and separated 8 months after the project was completed. Mike takes his work seriously and expects only the best of himself and his team. I would hire MGE for my next project without hesitation.
