I recently hired Champion 1 Construction for a home renovation project, and I couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, the team was professional, reliable, and incredibly skilled. They took the time to understand my vision and offered thoughtful suggestions to improve the final result. The quality of their work is exceptional, and they completed the project on time and within budget. The crew was respectful, friendly, and always left the job site clean. Let me start off with what a nightmare this bathroom renovation has been. We are now going on 5 weeks with a 5x6 bathroom not completed. My mother and I have no shower for 5 weeks! They had said the bathroom should take 7-10 days. The owner Anthony said he was preparing our tile and never did. We ended up having to select another tile which the store they referred us to did not carry merola tile (originally sent). The plumber arrived with a white tub when we said beige/bone. They arrived with a chrome shower when we stated all black fixtures and shower. We we’re promised a full demo, neesh Box, and exhaust fan. They took up one floor tile and left the original flooring and began to layer tile on top. We have 3 wholes in 3 different rooms from the demo guys banging so hard. I hope my tile does not come up. We have no exhaust fan and no neesh box. They built a shelf because they “forgot during the demo”. Lots of cancellations bc sonny had an emergency or had to take the van. If you want your bathroom to be done in a month these are the guys for you!

Champion 1 Construction has done numerous jobs for us. Some which presented unique individual problems which they overcame to our personal satisfaction at a better than competative price. We will be looking forward to hiring them again in the future for additional work.

I awarded champion 1 construction my home improvement project. They hooked me up with an architect, which worked out really well for the planning and NYC Department of buildings paperwork and permit processing. I ended up working with Anthony, who had plenty ideas how to approach the new roof over our patio, and the creating a new full bathroom in the basement. He took a personal interest in all aspects of the job and was courteous and accessible throughout the project alll the way to completion. Straight forward guy with good connections in the trade. Champion 1 Construction did a 1st and 2nd floor extension on my house. They worked so well and kept the job moving along. Always answered my questions and explained what they were doing and going to do next. I like that they kept me in the loop not like other contractor’s they don’t even want to talk to the customers.

I am very satisfied with the work done on my home. My girlfriend and I had gone through several long tedious quote processes with a handful over other companies. From the beginning to the end, Champ 1 did what they said they were going to do. They did a complete remodel of our condominium, and the communication was good, the quality of work was good, they left the job clean which not many contractors do. Everything got done the way we wanted! 5 stars

I had Sonny (Champion1) rebuild my home and come back to do some additional work recently. As usual the work was excellent, done properly, on time and passed all required inspections. I am looking forward to hiring them next spring to install a patio at the rear of my home, as they work to get the project within the projected budget and finish when they say they will.

I have know sonny for over 20 years he did work on my first home and came out great with no problems ....when I sold it I got top dollar . He also did work on my current home and looks great ...fast work and any problems he was a phone call away . I highly recommend him no job too big or small. Joe M. Garden city NY

Champion 1 demolished and rebuilt the entire second floor of our home, while we occupied the first floor. We had no water or other damage even though it rained for many days prior to the closing in of the structure. Their Carprenters did an excelent job of framing which passed inspection by my independent engineer with no punch list. The sheetrock and taping crew's work is impecable, and the painters followed. We purchased our own bamboo flooring, which the carpenter installed with ease. We are finalizing and waiting for our Certificate of Occupancy inspection from the NYC DOB, which our architect says will be "No Problem". I highly recomend the owners and crafts people from Champion1.
