Everyone we worked with, including all of the sub contractors were professional and courteous. The Munz team worked with us on initial Architectural plans, designs (2d and 3d), and were willing to change with us as the project developed. They worked with us to keep the overall project within the budget we allocated, and were always responsive if we ever needed to talk with them. It was a wonderful experience and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We hired Munz to rebuild a deck for us. The 5 day job which was started in November did not finished until the end of March. The deck turned out fine but we were unhappy with the lack of communication concerning the job. Several shrubs were ripped out and rubble from broken concrete was mixed in and spread on the soil in this planting area. I would not recommend them.

Hired Munz to install a new roof. They were very professional, the work was done in a timely manner and they were very careful of our shrubs and lawn. The supervisor, Eric, was here off and on to check on progress. They cleaned up the area (even though it was getting dark by then) and the next morning someone came and walked all around our property picking up tiny pieces and staples. The dumpster was removed the next day and once again they cleaned up. It's been three years and we've had no issues. I would recommend them for a roofing job!

We have the house that Munz (re)built: Vinyl siding, windows, a three season room. We called them back the following year for a renovation to our family room. (We removed a wall and made a great room out of our living/family rooms). The detail work on our fireplace is amazing. From the crown molding to sweeping up the floor as they left each day, we found them to be professional, punctual, and courteous. They actually shoveled snow around the perimeter of our house to continue working on our siding and windows.

Chris Munz and his team completed two projects in our home. First, a patio extension complete with a mahogany lined hip roof and electrically driven screens. Chris's carpenters were exceptional and we enjoy the results of the project virtually every day. The whole team handled the project professionally and completed it on schedule and within budget. We were so pleased with the work we moved on to the basement were Chris's team refinished the walls and dropped ceiling. Munz Construction replaced our roof and siding. They were very professional from the start and were always available for questions and follow up details. The job went smooth with minor to nearly no problems. They took care of all issues as they arose and completed the job with high quality service. I would use them again if I need to.

I started my relationship with Munz Construction in 2005 with a major addition to our home. Since then I have done about 4 other projects. All project results exceeded my high expectations! I just signed a contract to remodel my kitchen and had a chance to work with the design staff for the first time. They are very knowledgable, patient and helpful. Removal of old roof down to studs (2 layers of shingles and plywood) on a "dutch split level" . House is about 26 X 60, plywood and shingles on front of second floor level. New plywood was increased from 1/4' to 3/8", ridge vents were installed, self sealing ice and water barriers were installed, and a "high performance underlayment utilized. Work was completed in 3 days, the third day being Thanksgiving Thursday. Protective drop clothes were placed within the house attic to capture falling debris, large dropcloths were utilized all around the house (over plants and bushes) and only a couple of nails were found on the ground when to job was finished, no flat tires or nails stepped upon. All vent pipe covers were replaces and 2 attic fans were removed. I would not hesitate to recommend the Munz Construction company. P.S. Neighbor recently asked who did our roof as it is one of the best looking roofs he has seen.

Munz Construction totally redid the master bath in my house. The only piece that was not new was the toilet. The designers worked with us as we had some ideas of what we wanted. They suggested a single sink with a cabinet tower for storage. Besides my new tub, this is the best part of the bathroom.The workmen were very efficient and clean. They gutted most of the room and replaced walls. They cleaned up every day before they left. The tiler, plumber, and electrician also did a great job.

I would highly recommend the Munz organization. They are an honest company that you will highly trust to do the work. We did a major expansion work on our master bed and bath which came out great. The work site team became like family to us during the renovation.

I couldn't have been happier. From the get go of our project Munz Construction was very responsive and detail oriented. We wanted to get several bids from different contractors. The first service provided was a complete new kitchen. It began with design, to building and right to beautiful product. They did excellent work. The second service provided was a new hall bathroom. They added new tub, vanity, tiling and vanity mirrors. The job shows wonderful workmanship and a great eye for design. The third service provided was a foyer renovation. They installed beautiful wrought iron railing, trim work and a tiled foyer floor. The before and after shows their awesome work. Last but not least .. A new roof. They installed a beautiful new roof and with their guidance a nice change to our home of 25 years. Below is the approximate cost of the roof only.

We hired Munz construction in Fall 2012 because we had a number of renovation projects to complete throughout our 12 year old house, and we felt that the home-building expertise and project management oversight of a bigger general contractor would be important. Our work included a total kitchen remodel, cutting french doors into 2 load-bearing walls, exterior door replacements, water intrusion issues, relocation of laundry plumbing, remodeling a half bath, custom trim work, exterior concrete stair replacement, basement window well replacement, furnace/air conditioner/water heater replacement, painting, and custom closet shelving. From the first phone call to the office, Munz stood out from all other contractors from which I had sought bids on the work. They were professional, friendly, and they took the time to explain things and answer questions. They were not the cheapest bid we obtained, but theirs was the most thorough and trustworthy. The kitchen design phase was fun and complemented with color renditions and 3-dimensional computer images. My husband and I researched appliances and materials extensively and found their recommended suppliers and showrooms to be very good. Our Munz designer was very knowledgeable and offered valuable input into our kitchen layout and selections. Work began in January 2013. Munz had a large team of their own employees for most work and then used subcontractors for certain specialty things. Their employees are all very skilled, professional, and friendly--my 2 and 4-year old kids befriended them and were eager to see them arrive each day. Their subs have worked with them for many years, and I found that everyone knew each other, held each other accountable for their work, and treated the subs like employees. Our foreman had an excellent relationship with each sub and maintained a sharp awareness of their work each day. Munz's work ethic and product has been excellent. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and bath. For the smaller projects, such as the water intrusion and door replacements, Munz's expertise was particularly valuable because they had to identify the problem first and then suggest options to handle it. From the beginning we had chosen to work with a different contractor to install hardwood flooring on our first floor and vinyl in our mudroom. When a problem arose with that other contractor in our mudroom, Munz stepped in and quickly brought in their sub to fix our problem. Their breadth of expertise was evident many times during our project. The project went over budget by about the standard 10-15% that i had read about beforehand in remodeling articles. There was also one unexpected cost that emerged from having to rework a design but it was handled to our satisfaction. Overall we feel that we definitely got our money's worth. We could not have chosen a better contractor for all of our work.

I hired Munz Construction to replace the shingles and some sheathing on the roof on my house. They did a very nice job in a very timely manner. Their price was the lowest of 5 quotes that I received from roofing contractors in the area. I would use them again for other work on my house.

Munz Construction did an excellent job in renovating our deck. They were very knowledgeable in helping select the materials & securing township approvals. We had a BIG addition put onto our home. Every room in the house was effected, except one! Munz construction was extremely professional. Their workmanship was amazing. The contactors were kind and respectful to the entire family. The job was completed in the time framed promised. This job was completed 4 years ago. This past spring I had an issue with a piece of trim because of this wicked weather we had. Munz was out within hours and it was fixed with NO charge. Munz rebuilt my house after a devastating fire. The house was large (5 bedrooms and over 5000 square feet). The entire process from the initial contract to completion was superb and exceeded my expectations. Munz was professional, extremely honest and responsive. My house was completed on time, on budget and exactly as had been agreed. Their work was very high quality. I have recommened Munz many times and would not hesitate to do so in the future.

Munz Construction created a complete remodel of my 25+ year old kitchen. The design included gutting the space, raising the ceiling, expanding the footprint, installing all new cabinets, granite and tile surfaces, flooring and fixtures. Munz expertly handled the design and the installation. They worked very closely with me - taping into my culinary needs and preferences. I always felt a part of a process that produced a truly personal, beautiful and workable design. The staff/craftsmen were always professional, pleasant and respectful. Project scope was to re-roof, install new windows, reside entire house and install a new 20x20 sun room with vaulted ceiling. Munz Construction was a pleasure to deal with. Their employees are friendly,courteous and very knowledgeable in all phases of their work. Roofing and siding were installed straight and true! Small problems that arose after the completion of the project were rectified promptly. Survived Hurricane Sandy without a glitch! Addition footings were dug to virgin ground, other contractors were only going down three feet. People rave about the sun room when they see it, we could not be happier. Munz does things right, no short cuts.

The true test of the value a of a service provider is if you would use them again. We have used Munz Construction multiple times over the past 15 years. Whether it was roofing or siding (we have done both) or adding a two story addition with a wraparound porch, Munz Construction has provided excellent service, a quality product and a fair price. I hired Munz Construction to remodel my bathroom and kicthen. I was very pleased with the process of estimate, they helped me through the selection of materials available and different colors. Then they assigned a project manager to make should all the details were preform in a speedy timeframe. Overall I was vert happy with the outcome of both projects. I would recommend them to others.

- I have used Munz Construction for over 12 years, they have finished our basement, updated our kitchen, two bathrooms, replaced all windows and entry doors. I have found them to be reliable, on time, they communicate well and clean up every day of the project. Most importantly my wife is comfortable with them in the house. Pricing has always been somewhat in the middle of our estimates but their other attributes mentioned have always driven us back to them. I am observant and keep an eye on the projects as they progress. If something comes up during their work, they have been responsive to my requests and willing to make corrections or adjustments as they go. I have placed my trust in them for many years and will continue to do so until they fail to meet the expectations they have set.

We used Munz Construction for an exterior job of siding and new brick work over existing brick work. Our project also involved a new paver entry way and waterproofing and landscaping of our property. We received estimates from at least 3 other contractors. Munz was not the lowest price estimate, but we went with the company because of the owner. He was involved from day one. He took the time to explain the philosophy behind his company and how he knows he is the true face of his company. He worked with us every step of the way. He has a great personality and knows how to work with people and respects them as customers. We were more than satisfied with all aspects of our project. Munz Construction was absolutely fantastic, we could not be happier with them! We hired them to do an addition on our house in Jan 2013 and the whole experience was just great. We've received a ton of compliments on the work done and our neighbor has already hired them for a similar project. We never had to worry about a thing. These guys are pros. We had a project manager (Rich) who managed the whole job from demolition to paint, and he was awesome to work with. He always answered the phone when i called, or sometimes we texted back and forth. The workers were always here promptly as promised at 7:30 am, and were courteous and clean. They quoted 8-10 weeks for the job to be finished and it was finished on time. The price we signed off on was the price we paid. There were no hidden costs or unforeseen circumstances that caused the price to go up mid-project. They do what they say, and they know what they are doing. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again! We absolutely loved them.

Six bedroom home was completed two months ahead of time and under budget. Remarkable craftsmanship and service. I was very happy with every detail from start to finish. Since building my home I hired Munz to build me a 3 car detached garage, and an addition to my office at work. Feel confident hiring this company.

Munz construction built a 2nd story 500 sq ft addition onto our home. They also replaced the entire roof, siding, gutters, exterior doors and skylights on our 24 year old home. The price was fair and the payment plan was clearly stated and manageable. The work was completed in stages over a 4 month period of time. We LOVE the final product. The contractors and subs were meticulous, polite and diligent. We were amazed at the ease of working with their framing crew, roofers and siders. They are a quality team. Communication with the owner and supervisors was handled in a timely manner. Office staff were receptive. This company handled everything from architectural plans to obtaining permits to arranging inspections. They listened carefully to what we requested and did everything possible to accommodate our wishes. We did not know this company prior to the work but noticed various construction projects they had worked on. We spoke with some of their previous clients and were impressed. Even their subcontractors who did our plumbing, electrical, drywall and heating were timely and professional. They had very good words to say about this construction company being dependable. Living in a home during construction can be stressful but we were impressed with this contractor's respect for us and their attempts to maintain the integrity of our living space throughout the process. 5 stars out of 5 is certainly what this company deserves in our opinion.

We had a 900 sq ft addition added to our split level. I got 3 bids and decided to use Munz due to their reputation in my area and other jobs they had done in my area. Right from the start I could tell these guys were top notch. They arrived when they promised and were at my job every day during the week throughout the entire job. They staid on budget and schedule. They even did extra items and never buckled and dimed us. The price we agreed on was the price we paid. They were pleasant to deal with and cleaned up everyday before they left. I had heard horror stories about contractors but these guys were outstanding. I would highly recommended Munz.
