We are so grateful to Bob Lipovsky for his kindness, patience and trustworthiness throughout the major remodel of our 1920’s bungalow. This was our first huge, multi-room renovation and we needed someone with the experience to guide us over the hurdles, as well as the conscientiousness and heart to treat the project like it was his own. We found all that in Nautilus Builders (at a good value to boot!), and are glad we have someone to call for future projects in our wonderfully updated home.

Bob Lipovsky of Nautilus Builders completely rebuilt my home in 2007 after a disastrous fire. He came highly recommended to me by a colleague at Georgetown University Hospital. Unlike other contractors we had hired in the past, he was on the scene monitoring and supervising every day. As a result, the project went smoothly with superb quality and attention to detail. Nautilus Builders completely rebuilt our home, and added a third story and an elevator. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Lipovsky and Nautilus Builders for any work you may undertake.

Bob is super easy to work with. He is low key but has many great ideas. I am always confident that when I call him to do a job, I will be 100% happy with the result!

After a ceiling collapse in 2014, Bob had his people at our house by 6am the next morning. They were in our house for 3 weeks, on a daily basis, and everyday we would come back from work and the crew had cleaned up completely. The only sign they were there was evidenced by the day’s progress. Whatever your project I recommend Bob and his Nautilus team with 110% confidence. It’s a true privilege to know and work with Bob.

My name is Al Silverman. I first met Bob Lipovsky in 1978. We go way back. So, when I bought a house that need an almost total renovation and a virtual rebuilding, I naturally called on my old friend Bob. He hand-picks the very best people for each part of the process. The architect who had the breakthrough idea that almost doubled the space available to us. The foreman, who has built more houses than Habitat for Humanity. The Jacuzzi expert, who gently guided me through the opulent options available on my corner Jacuzzi. The glass-enclosed steam shower expert. The hardwood floor specialists. Specialists and perfectionists manned every single part of the operation. The results are stunning and extraordinary. You could try every building contractor in the tri-state area. But you will not find one like Bob. He is simply the best in the business. Quality? A #1. Workmanship? Professional in every way. Experience? Unmatched. But what really sets Bob apart is integrity. He is the most honest man you will ever meet. I know. I’ve known Bob for 40 years. It’s not just how he conducts his business. It’s how he lives his life. But I warn you. If you do not want the job done right, don’t ask Bob to do it. Because he is going to do it right. He just does not know any other way.

Nautilus Builders did a wonderful job refinishing our bathroom. Bob Lipovsky worked closely with me to provide me with the options to the specific issues we were dealing with in the project so that we could come to solutions that best represented what we wanted as our outcome. He was always available to consult with me, and his workers were quick, effective, and accommodating. Over the years I have used Bob Lipovsky for other projects because I have found him honest, informative, fair, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing results that I will be happy with. Nautilus Builders did an excellent job on our kitchen renovation. The Lipovsky family is wonderful to work with and very fair. Their subs were professional and easy to work with. After a previous bad experience with another contractor, Nautilus Builders went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and things went smoothly. We LOVE our new kitchen!

Addition and renovation project, master bedroom and bathroom with laundry room hallway and the extension/addition of square footage to our dinning and family rooms. Plus a patio and a portico. The foreman assigned to our project was excellent and responsive. Started on time and pretty much stay on the proposed schedule without major delays till completion of project on budget. Very satisfied, it was a pleasure to do business with good and honest professionals. Happy and enjoying the added living space with family and friends! Great job Bob!
