Nelson and his crew are highly professional and do amazing work. They have completed several jobs for me (small to very large in nature) - I will definitely be working with them again.

We trusted Nelson S. Construction LLC with a major project on our house in Larchmont that involved a 2nd floor addition as well as a complete renovation and reconfiguration of our existing first floor and second floor space. From the beginning, Nelson and his crew were on time with all that was involved in the project and completed the project sooner than its estimated completion date. Working with Nelson was easy as he was easily accessible and was there in person daily checking on all work and its progress. He made changes as the project went along that we wanted to implement as well as gave us recommendations during the project that improved our original project. His crew was always on time and respectful. They are highly skilled, do quality work and go out of their way to make the project as we had requested. The tile work is just exquisite in its precision and craftsmanship. As well as the carpentry work. From the electrician, to the plumber, HVAC, insulation, to the interior and exterior painting, all was done by a professional set of people that took great care for everything to be done well and were proud of their work. We were very lucky we picked Nelson to do our project as he made everything less stressful by always communicating with us about every small detail and every step of the way. We would highly recommend Neson S. Construction as they created a beautiful home for us that we fell in love with.

We used Nelson S Construction Company for a major renovation starting in July of 2017. We were beyond satisfied with the completion of our master bedroom dormer, master bath and closet addition, conversion of garage to mudroom/playroom and addition of a powder bathroom. Nelson is honest, hardworking and a great craftsman. His bid was competitively priced and he worked well with sub-contractors. He worked seamlessly with our architect, Paige Lewis who we also recommend. Our project was completed extremely close to his projected timeline even though we increased the scope after we witness his outstanding work and elected to do more. During the renovation our first child was only months old. His crew was courteous and respectful. We look forward to working with Nelson again on our next project.

Nelson and his crew have restored 3 houses for us. We first hired him in 2001, then again in 2006, in 2012, and we are about to engage in another project with him (2017). He is reliable, trustworthy, hard working, and honest. As for his work experience: we are extremely happy to work with him. He has a great eye for proportions, and an intuitive knowledge about a good use of space. He stays up-to-date on the developments and changes in his field, and his recommendations are always solid and well-informed. He is not afraid to admit when he doesn't know something and will inform himself and get back with an answer. He leaves his job sites clean and organized, and to my greatest surprise, the 2 times, he had to work "around" us, because we did not move out, things were not as awful, as I had anticipated. He kept the dust to a minimum, and tried to do the noisy work when we were at work. Last but not least: the "after care". We had tenants in one of the houses he restored. Nelson kept an eye on the house and made sure everything was in working order. He was always "a phone-call" away, which was extremely helpful, especially during hurricane Sandy, when we needed help. His crew seems to like him a lot too, since he has very low turnover, something that is unusual in his line of work. We have seen the same guys in his crew now for the past 6 years. We highly recommend him.

Nelson S has done several projects for us, the most recent was a total renovation of the kitchen and the adjoining dining room, followed by the restoration & painting of the walls in the living room. The work was done on budget and a tight schedule with meticulous attention to detail, choices of materials and the safety and comfort of those (my spouse and I) who had to live in close proximity to the construction sites. In addition to employing highly skilled workman, Nelson Segovia, the company's owner, has a great eye for design and materials and aesthetic standards to match. We have the highest regard for this company and its founder and freely recommend Nelson S to our friends and family members.

I have known and worked with Nelson for almost 20 years and I cannot say enough good things about him. He is smart, hard-working, honest, knowledgeable, a problem solver, organized, produces high quality work and has great design sense. All of these attributes add up to one very talented contractor. He has done countless projects for me - a major kitchen remodel and first floor update, renovated all 4 of my bathrooms, a extensive renovation of my master bedroom/bath including adding a cathedral ceiling and did a high end remodel of my basement.
