Next Gen. Construction

On January 10, 2025, I contracted with David Wieczorek, Next Gen. Construction remodel my kitchen. He quoted over $45,000 for the complete job. David asked for an initial deposit of over $11,000. I gave him a partial deposit of $4000 I was to give him another $7000 when he completed the FREE 3C layout. David kept extending the date for the completion of the FREE 3D lay-out, which I never got. He kept asking for the balance of the first deposit. I did not want to give him another dime for nothing in return, so I decided to have him to just install a door wall with the $4000 that I had already given him. David quoted me a price of $5986 for the door and installation. I agreed with the price. He told me that he was ordering the door and would let me know the installation date. I reached out to him many times to inquire about an installation date. He continuously told me that the door was ordered and asked me to give him a few more weeks for the door to come in and schedule installation. After getting the run around for months, on April 2nd I asked for my $4000 deposit back. He stopped answering my calls or responding to my text for a while and when he did respond he asked me to give him time to return my $4000 deposit. Prior to giving him any money he told me several times that my deposit was refundable. However after I told him that I want my money back, he then stated that there could be a charge of 1/3 because the agreement was not cancelled within 3 business days. David and I had been conversing since December and he has done nothing but take my deposit and tell one lie after another. I finally got my total deposit back but in pieces after MANY texts and calls. He sent me $1000 then not respond for a week or so then another $1000 and again no response or lies; finally after I told him that I felt like he was trying to scam me did he give me the balance. I cannot rate his work because he never did any work in my home.

Next Gen remodeled my bathroom and it came out great. Very timely progression to completion. The price was fair and they use state of the art 3D estimating.

Dave is a creative genius especially when it came to making our vision come to life. He helped us with an Amazing bathroom remodel and did our tear off roofing (in one day and clean up was flawless). Even gutters were seamlessly perfect . I feel like I have a brand new home ! Dave/Next Gen met and exceeded our expectations . Super pleased ! My family ,friends and myself all have nothing but good things to say about Next Gen Construction . I’m hoping to hire them again for my siding job next year.

We needed new gutters, and we wanted to have gutter guards installed as well. We also had some concerns about areas that needed repair and about the flow of water. We called several companies to get quotes. As I have found is pretty typical nowadays, some didn't get back to me for weeks, or showed up hours later than expected to provide quotes. Dave Wieczorek of Next Gen Construction contacted me very promptly, arrived when he promised, checked out our gutters to confirm it would be best to replace them and he suggested adding more downspouts. His price was very competitive with another company, and way less than half the price of the "standard" company that offers gutter guards (that company was going to charge us 2-1/2 times what Next Gen charged and that was without even replacing our existing almost 30 year old gutters). Our old gutters were coming away from the roof in some spots - they were in rough shape. Next Gen got the old ones down, replaced them with new gutters with leaf guards, added several more downspouts, and we no longer need to worry about any damage occuring from our old, falling apart gutters that had trees starting to grow in them. They sure look a heck of a lot better than our old ones, too. I would highly recommend Next Gen Construction and hope to hire them for future jobs around the house as well.

Next Gen. and I have worked together for years, I highly recommend using them for your external and internal construction needs. They do phenomenal work, and clean up extremely well. Every crew I’ve been alongside has been extremely respectful as well.
