My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

As we complete our fourth home remodeling project with Oltean Construction, I want to update my earlier review. Over 16 months and four projects, we’ve been consistently impressed with the entire Oltean team. Regardless of the size and scope, working with Oltean has been a true pleasure. Our complex kitchen and den remodel were handled professionally from start to finish, resulting in an exceptional outcome. Silviu’s input during the planning process was invaluable. From cultivating design ideas, to helping us maximize benefits while staying within our budget. His approach provided us with an even better result that contained no financial surprises at the project's conclusion. Throughout all four projects, the entire Oltean team was highly professional and courteous, so much so that that they had the run of the house even when we weren’t there. Silviu effectively explained how changes would impact both the budget and schedule. Most of the work was done by Oltean Construction, but the specialty subcontractors they used also added significant value and courtesy. In summary, we’ve received great remodeling results at a reasonable price on all of our Oltean Construction projects. Steve Douglas

I highly recommend Oltean Construction! They completed my project (Sleek modern kitchen remodel in project pictures) a couple years ago and we couldn't be happier. Our project was a down to the stud remodel of our kitchen that included taking down one interior wall, adding windows to the exterior, reconfiguring the entire layout and replacing the french doors in our dining room. Their bid was competitive on price but more importantly the owner, Silviu, was very transparent on what was included, what wasn't and how we would handle issues that will always arise during a remodel. We had multiple scope revisions and I always felt like Silviu was providing a very reasonable cost on the changes and providing multiple options to control costs. Another key quality for Silviu and team as their ability to trouble shoot when issues came up. They coordinated closely with our designer to correct issues on the design dimensions, and they worked directly with the structural engineers on our project to come up with the most cost effective way to address our engineering requirements. If you're looking for a contractor you can trust and won't gouge you on the cost of every change that comes up then I highly recommend working with Oltean Construction on your project.
