After speaking with about 10 builders and remodelers, we hired Pacent Construction in early 2025 for a whole-house remodel and ADU-style addition in Sammamish. The project was completed in approximately 14 months, stayed within the original budget and timeline, and we are very happy with the results. Pacent worked closely with their architect and designer to turn our extensive wish list into a practical plan. They recommended dividing the project into three phases: bathroom reconfiguration, interior remodels, and the addition. This approach proved especially valuable because the addition permit took about eight months to obtain, allowing the first two phases to progress while permitting was underway. Throughout the design process, owner Philip, project manager Lisa, architect Andrew, and interior designer Phuong provided thoughtful guidance on layout, structural considerations, and material selections. They were responsive, collaborative, and focused on finding solutions that met our needs. The team also helped coordinate site surveys, utility upgrades, and even assisted with moving the permit review process forward. Communication was excellent throughout the project, with regular updates on progress, scheduling, and change requests. During construction, general contractor Jay, Ross, and the crew paid close attention to detail. The tile, carpentry, trim, and paint work blended seamlessly with the existing home, and they took care to resolve even minor finish issues before considering the work complete. As expected with a project of this size, there were occasional changes and unexpected issues. Pacent's change-order process was efficient and responsive, often providing estimates within a day and scheduling work quickly. They also helped resolve issues outside their scope, including coordinating repairs after a utility contractor accidentally damaged exterior electrical wiring. Overall, our experience with Pacent Construction was excellent. They delivered a quality remodel and addition on time and within budget.

Pacent built our dream kitchen. They helped guide us through the numerous complex stages from initial conception and design, shopping, the remodelling itself, and all follow-throughs. Their designer was great. She allowed us to just express ourselves and have fun selecting and shopping for the materials while she handled the technical details. Pacent took care of all the project coordination with the subs. There were significant supply-chain problems that came from external sources that Pacent handled the communications for. Overall, they kept us in the loop and communicated with us throughout, which made everything much easier than it would have been. We highly recommend Pacent for your remodelling projects.

I was impressed by the knowledge of design and construction related work that Pacent provides as well as the company's quality of service and timely responses! Lisa was very attentive and provided great feedback to help me come up with a great plan for my starter home remodel - floor replacement (carpet replacement with LVP), living room and dining room improvements, and HVAC upgrades in our initial call including a pricing estimate and time schedule. She then walked me through the design and procurement process quickly, having the work assigned within a short turn-around time - such a relief especially during the busy holiday season! Any question I had, Lisa answered and has made sure that the remodel has gone according to plan. Looking forward to continuing working with Pacent on future projects.

The Pacent team recently completed a remodel of my vaulted ceiling living room. The end result is so beautiful! The designer helped me reimagine the furnishings for sitting/viewing areas as well as the display and storage I needed. Two walls now have beautiful white oak shelves and cabinets. Carpeted floors were replaced with wood floors that blend seamlessly with the existing wood floors in adjacent rooms. The lighting in the room is also so much more inviting with layered lighting that illuminates my books and artwork while providing a warm, inviting, relaxing feel to the entire area. New furniture was selected to create a room that can be used for TV viewing, conversations, reading, needlework and even a good nap! The designer worked closely with the construction manager and the project stayed on track to finish in a reasonable amount of time. All of the workers were polite, skilled, and in some instances went above and beyond to get it right. It was a great experience working with the entire Pacent design and build team!

Pacent does the most beautiful work. The company has an in-house designer that coordinates all the products that go into a renovation project. For anyone who has been told by a contractor, “Go and pick out your tile, plumbing/light fixtures, paint color” etc., you know what a great thing an in-house designer is. And Phillip’s work is exquisite. All the finishes and trades work is of the highest quality. I highly recomnend Pacent for any renovation or ground-up building project you have.
