Pete developed a passion for fine craftsmanship while attending a private boarding school in Amenia, NY, where he was part of an eclectic woodworking program that featured instruction by architects, engineers, and craftspeople from all phases of fine home construction. This hands-on instruction created a life-long career path for Pete. Returning to Vermont to finish his education, Pete spent six years apprenticed to local, established builders. He gained recognition as a fine craftsman by venturing out on his own for a large-scale home remodeling job. 15 years later, Pete Conrad Construction builds fine homes, renovates existing structures, builds or repairs log homes. His team is comprised of the finest workers in the area, and Pete’s unique approach to every job, keeps them excited and motivated about the work they do. A hundred years ago in Vermont, quality craftsmanship was the accepted standard of home building.
