From start to finish, it was great working with PDC to redo the grout in my bathroom and replace my vanity and medicine cabinet. I chose Plinio and his team because of their responsiveness and clear, prompt communication. They were available to answer my questions promptly throughout the process. When there was a faulty part in the sink they installed, they returned immediately, same day, to fix it. I am very pleased with the results, and I would gladly hire them again to do more work in my home.

I am a first-time homeowner/renovator and finding PDC was such a blessing. Plinio and his team, from Brunie his assistant to Octavio his electrician/foreman, were patient, thorough and professional from the very beginning. OUR PROJECT: carpet removal/LVP installation in the living room, hallway and home office + electric radiant heat installation for the living room and office floors. The day I called Plinio about our project, he came to the property the same day to assess things in order to give us an accurate estimate. By the next day, we had an estimate and a clear explanation of logistics/payment details. Plinio said upfront that he won't accept a project unless he knows he can deliver it with quality and confidence. Well, he delivered above and beyond our expectations and was competitively priced. The PDC workers were punctual every morning, patiently answered any questions, and cleaned up after themselves. Furthermore, they offered helpful, efficient, money-saving suggestions, which showed that they have the utmost integrity in their work and are passionate about making sure that customers are satisfied. For example, when I mentioned that we had plans to install electric radiant heat someday in the bathrooms, they suggested that they prepare the wiring for the bathrooms while doing the wiring for the current project, in order to save us money and time for those future renovations. That way, we wouldn't have to spend more money to rip up the walls/floors for that future project. There are other things that came up and PDC was always able and willing to accomodate those requests and that prices were fair. (I never realized renovations could be so addicting!). Communication was reliable and timely which, for me, is everything in this kind of work relationship. In the 3 weeks previous to my first call to PDC, I had had 2 contractors' estimates come through and both contractors were flakey, responding when they felt like it. I wasn't confident that they were licensed or knowledgeable about our project. This was making me a nervous wreck because we were under a time constraint, trying to get the flooring done so we could move in by a deadline, and getting reliable information/estimates from them was a struggle. Out of desperation, I researched and found PDC on Houzz. From the first day I called Plinio and spoke with him, I felt peace of mind. After meeting with him in person to assess our property, my boyfriend and I looked at each other and said, "He's the one". I could go on and on, but suffice it to say: Plinio and his team are a gem in this industry. We couldn't be happier that they had a huge part in making our new house a home. Paying PDC for their expertise and service is like paying for therapy, in addition to the quality work they provide. We will definitely be working with them again in the future and wish nothing but the best for their continued success.

I was completely clueless when I was looking into renovating my apartment, so I did a lot of research initially. I might have gone overboard but I think I got 5 or 6 estimates from as many different companies. I received my quote from Plinio Design Corp at the beginning of April 2022, and I signed a contract with PDC around mid to late April. PDC was not the most expensive nor was it the cheapest; I thought PDC's prices were fair and it included a lot of things so that I didn't have to worry about continuously paying out of pocket for things and surprise add-ons (we've all heard the horror stories). After getting approval from my co-op, the work started at the beginning of May. I was quoted a 7-week estimate; the job was done around mid to late October 2022. Here is a list of the work that was done: 1. Demolition: This involved removing old flooring, old cabinets, old appliances, old blinds, light fixtures, old closet doors, a gigantic mirror that was hanging on the living room (very 80s?). 2. Flooring replacement. Old flooring was removed; new laminate wood flooring was installed in the majority of the apartment, and I chose tile for the kitchen and bathroom floors. 3. Kitchen renovation. A wall was partially removed. An induction stove was installed, which involved an electrician due to the extra electrical capacity required by that. I got new cabinets, countertop, backsplash, and a new light fixture. 4. Bathroom renovation. As with the kitchen, I got the works: a new tub, new tiles, new light fixture, new vanity, new toilet, new door, an electrical outlet because there was previously no outlet. 5. Painting. I got everything repainted, including the ceiling. 6. I got radiator covers made as the radiators are painted over and gross-looking. 7. They were also nice enough to install my closet, some curtain rods, blinds, a dish drying rack, and a coat hook. I had lots of questions throughout the process, and I found that PDC was overall pretty good about responding. There were times when I didn't get a response back to emails or texts but that was not frequent, and I knew I could eventually get an answer via phone call. Sometimes there was a language barrier when I spoke with Plinio but there was always someone who could translate, whether it was his son or his assistant. There weren't too many miscommunications but the one that jumps out is I had asked for an accent wall in the living room but all the walls ended up being painted. I decided to keep the walls because the color looked so nice - a happy mistake! They also coordinated with my co-op's management so I didn't have to worry about that. I haven't fully moved into my apartment yet but visually the apartment came out well. Everything looks well done, and they addressed my remaining concerns at the final walk-through. I highly recommend Plinio Design Corp. Plinio is very nice and more importantly, he and his team are honest.

We had Plinio Design Corp do our kitchen renovation. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. From start to finish, everyone involved was pleasant to work with. Plinio immediately understood our vision and offered some suggestions that enhanced the end results. He was always available to answer questions, provide updates and incorporate any last minute adjustments. The project was completed on schedule and under budget. They are true professionals. We would definitely use them again.

Plinio worked quickly, gave us a fair bid, and had all the right people do each job for us. Unlike others, they did not nickel and dime us on small extras that were quick and easy to do, but that they could have easily been more difficult about. The entire transaction felt the way it would if you had an uncle in the industry who just helped take care of you. Anything that made sense, they threw in. A couple pricier add-ons we requested were reasonably priced. Timing was as scheduled or better than expected, and we'll be using them again to complete the second phase of our retail space in the future. Fantastic, very pleasant experience. You never know what you're getting into when you hire new people. We got very lucky finding them early. Thank you SO much!

Plinio and his team renovated my whole apartment and did an excellent job! When painting, they were very professional in making sure that the paint did not stain any of my furniture or the floor. They made sure to leave everything clean and in its place as it was originally found. They also made custom made woodwork frames and a dresser for me, making sure that it matched perfectly with my other already existing (custom made) furniture. His work ethic was very professional, his pricing was better than other contractors in my area and I would definitely recommend his work to others. All in all, I was left very satisfied with this job, and will reach out again to this company if I have anything that needs to be done in my house.

Plinio Design did a great job on our kitchen renovation. I was very particular, and they were very patient with me as I often made design changes and had a lot of questions! Ultimately, it came out looking exactly how we wanted it and I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out!

Horrible Contractor, never finishes the job and when he works, the job it's never finish, terrible job, careful he promises everything and does not finish, he still has not finish after a year, please do your homework before hiring him. THE WORST. If I could I would not even give him a star!!! Be carful

Tobias was great with responding to texts all the time. He estimated changing my tiles to take 4 days and they were done in one! We went back and forth between wanting our tiles done and he had the most patience with us! Would highly recommend!!

Baez, came to my home and, after speaking with me to determine my needs and future plans, was able to give me an estimate on the costs of my needed repairs within the week. After reviewing four different bids, his was the most exact, cost efficient, and timely of all the rest. Mr. Baez is one of the most professional contractors that I have ever met. At the same time, he is hospitable, courteous, and highly attuned to the needs and wishes of the client.
