POSEIDON REMODELING

We had a great experience working with Poseidon Remodeling on our project. Zoran, the owner, was hands-on and really listened to our vision. He was committed to making it come to life and stayed involved throughout the process. When issues or set backs came up, Zoran was determined to find a solution and didn’t stop until we were satisfied. That persistence was something we really appreciated. Overall, the work turned out great and we’re happy with the final result. Poseidon Remodeling delivered on what we were hoping for, and we’d recommend them to others looking for a contractor who takes pride in their work.

Poseidon delivered an incredible transformation of our house. Before our remodel we had a small dark dining room and kitchen and a family room. Now we have an open space which fits our style perfectly and absolutely love. Poseidon worked with us every step of the way to ensure that our new room is as we dreamed. The craftsmanship of the work is excellent. Zoran Vladisavljevic’s overall management kept the project within budget and to the committed timetable. Keith Tavshanjian is an artist in tile and design and great project manager. Specialists such as Kevin Shea ensured excellence in all things electrical. Keith’s assistant Luis is able and willing to undertake projects of many types. We trust Poseidon. We trust Zoran and Keith. This is the second project they have done for us and it won’t be the last. Five years ago they remodeled our master bathroom. We strongly recommend Poseidon to anyone looking for a project, small or large.

Zoran and his team (Keith, Brad, Luis) did an excellent job on our master bathroom- we could not be happier with the end result. We interviewed multiple contractors and ended up choosing Poseidon Remodeling b/c their quote was fair, the reviews were good, and Zoran was very easy to work with. We were very pleased with our choice! The whole team was communicative and very knowledgeable/skilled. We are already looking forward to getting our guest bathroom redone and would definitely choose them again.

It is very hard these days to find a reliable construction contractor. Poseidon Remodeling is such rare company, honoring the contract on time and as agreed. They are easy to work with, responsive in communication and thorough in completing the job to high standards. The owner is a man of his word. We fully recommend them.

Initially we chose Poseidon Remodeling at random from local remodeling companies for our Primary Bath remodel and we are glad we did! We had a newly purchased home with a '90's bathroom that not only needed updating, but repair for water damage and a failed solarium. Zoran was very easy to work with and does not like delays, but he wants to get the job done correctly. His crews are prompt and are sure to cover floors/furniture that are not part of the work for a damage-free job. They cleaned up/organized the job site at the end of each day. His craftsmen took the time to discuss the work with us and offered their beneficial opinions and expertise. This was important so that we could make sensible modifications on the fly. Price was GREAT; we had multiple quotes and Poseidon was the lowest bid. It has been hard to find responsible, quality contractors/craftsmen, but Poseidon Remodeling has renewed our faith in the construction industry.

We are extremely grateful for the great work Zoran and his team did with our master shower remodel. From the very beginning, Zoran was very professional, prompt with timing and maintained great communication throughout the project. All of the costs were extremely reasonable, and explained thoroughly upfront with no hidden fees. The shower turned out beautiful!! I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs work done on their house and we will definitely use them in the future for any other Remodeling needs!

I've updated my review to 4 stars due to meeting with Zoran and negotiating an equitable outcome for the final payment. We agreed to the following: * the elimination of the $1500 extra for soffit removal * reducing the amounts for furniture moving & carpet instead of LVP * compensating me for the numerous delays & inconveniences All in all I feel good about this outcome and would recommend Poseidon with the caveat to be aware of what you're getting into if you need flooring. Zoran was responsive to my concerns and he really does take it to heart to make his clients happy.

I worked on a project with Zoran. He is professional, honest, on time. His fees are very reasonable while the quality of work is perfect.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE 5 STAR REVIEWS I was going to wait to write this review until the project was finished, but if this helps even one person avoid the pitfalls and problems with this contractor, I should do it now. I was swayed by all the 5-star reviews for Poseidon and I hired Zoran on May 9. The project was to remodel my kitchen (including removing the soffit), replace patio sliding door, install all new wood flooring downstairs & on the stairs, new carpet upstairs and LVP flooring in the master bath and closets. The kitchen demo was started on May 31st, along with the demo of the old wood flooring downstairs, leaving the concrete subfloor exposed. The first two weeks of kitchen work went relatively well, EXCEPT to finish removing the soffit, Zoran wanted an additional $1500. Even though the soffit removal was included in the written contract and the contract stated "all material and labor in the scope above are included in price". Then came Wed June 15th and this reno turned into a nightmare. Zoran came by to pick up a progress payment and casually mentioned he was going out of town. No big deal, I thought. It turned out to be a very big deal. Zoran left the country and went to Serbia for the summer, leaving me to deal with the flooring contractor (Denis) myself. Before he left, Zoran assured me that Denis was scheduled to start installation the next day, Thursday, and carpets would be Monday. What followed was the most unprofessional, unorganized, inefficient and sloppy work from a subcontractor that I've ever seen. Denis did not communicate at all, nor did the supposed 'project manager' Charley (who I never met & never even heard of until he showed up at my house and was rude to my daughter). I kept texting Zoran for help, not realizing he was several time zones away. On the day that Denis showed up to start the floor (Friday), he decided the floor needed to be leveled, even though he had previously walked the job with Zoran and didn't mention it before. This was an additional delay of several days and an additional cost of several hundred dollars. They were so sloppy with the leveling, splashing cement on the walls. Then, to get my modem out of the way, they DUCT TAPED IT TO THE WALL. Zoran also charged me $1500 extra for moving heavy furniture, but Denis left it piled up in the corner for over a week and I had to move it back myself. They also put carpet in my closet instead of the LVP that I paid for. They violated my privacy and disrespected me by tearing up the carpet in my room on a day that I specifically asked and was assured that they wouldn't be working upstairs. Charley was so rude and condescending I banned him from the jobsite, not that he was of any help anyway. There's a lot more that went wrong, but not enough space to say it all. The job is still not finished & Zoran is still out of the country. Bottom line: I would only hire Poseidon if you are assured Zoran won't be leaving town in the middle of your project.

We could not be happier with our new media wall. Poseidon Remodeling was extremely professional and contentious! They stuck to the schedule and the estimate given from the beginning.

Zoran and his crew did an amazing job on our project to fix our open upstairs loft space into an enclosed office/extra bedroom. He quoted us a fair price, compared to other quotes we got and he and his subcontractors were professional, polite and efficient. When they were finished with construction they cleaned and vacummed and left our house in great condition. We will absolutely use him again on future home improvement projects and renovations in our house that we have planned.

We absolutely love our new bathroom! We can recommend Poseidon Remodeling enough. Zoran was quick to respond and great to work with. His crew of Nick and Vlad were amazing and hard workers. Poseidon delivered above and beyond what we wanted and was done early! Definitely given these guys a shot, we love them and would use them again!
