I recently had the pleasure of working with Stephen Smith of Precision Construction on a basement finish project that included a range of features such as a tile shower with steam add-on, flush door, closets, LVP flooring, curved ceiling, modern lighting with built-in speakers, and bar area rough-ins. Stephen was fantastic to work with. After hearing what we were looking for he came up with the perfect solution at an affordable cost. We hired Stephen to finish our basement in June. Of the contractors we met with he was the only one to provide us with a sketch of our basement to make sure the floor plan presented matched our expectations. Stephen handled the framing and stone work himself and had exceptional subcontractors working for him. A few of the standouts were JTM plumbing and Gustavo painting. Gustavo's crew handled staining our bar and painting all of our walls. The are very meticulous and take great pride in their work. He used a primer and 2 coats of paint throughout the basement. The drywaller's did good work but were not very the best on clean up. We had a start date in June and will have the project completed by the end of next week. The timeline aligned with our expectations. Unlike some of the contractors we met with Stephen allowed us to pay the job in stages of completion, which should be an industry norm not exception (most want 50% up front). Overall the basement turned out exactly the way we wanted. We would and will definitely higher Precision for our future projects.

Stephen completed work for our unfinished basement. He provided good and accurate information on the bid and segmented each stage (framing,plumbing,electrical,drywall, etc) for us. Great communication throughout the whole process and responded to my questions/concerns promptly. Willingly to go above and beyond to meet our expectations. Provided ideas and assistance on various phrases of construction.

I have hired Precision Construction for 3 different house improvements over the last 3 years at 3 different homes. Each one was done to perfection and done to my expectation. Stephen has a great crew he uses for all aspects of home improvement. He has done a complete basement remodel of 1200 feet. I had him add a laundry room and bath to a downstairs basement bedroom to make another master suite...and his suggestions were exactly what I was looking for. He also completely remodeled a home with carpet/new bath and paint. His choice of contractors for electricity, plumbing, painting and carpet have been perfect fits for the jobs! I look forward to using them a 4th time!

Stephen remodeled my basement. The workmanship is great. Stephen had great ideas to improve on the design and is always pleasant and polite. All issues with remodeling an older home were taken care of to ensure a final product that is both comfortable, up to code and safe. It's been 2 or 3 years, but my basement still looks greats and there has not been any issues. I will definitely use Stephen for my next project and referred many friends.

Terrible! There is nothing “precision” about his work. He tiled two landings and replaced a door. There is a jagged 1” gap next to the door that the tile doesn’t cover. He destroyed the wall next to my door. Uneven tiles next to another door and the stairs. He had to come back to finish the door. Told us Wednesday or Friday and didn’t show up until the following Tuesday. It’s difficult to make arrangements to let him in when he repeatedly misses the appointments he scheduled.

As an operations manager at a distribution center I have worked with Precision Construction a lot and they are the first I recommend to people looking for someone to provide the best quality service they can get. They are honest and hard working full of knowledge in the industry and never affraid to try new products. Very easy to work with because they have an open mind and a great attitude always patient and understanding of the customers needs regarding deadlines and budgets. I will continue to recommend them first on my list and hope others have the priviledge of working with Precision Construction.
